Sound was great but it could have been a bit louder.
Seats were great love the venue. Seen Loverboy a few times and still can rock!
Aside from not having a good view of the band due to the tall guy in front of me who pretty much blocked everything, the concert itself was great. Loverboy can still rock it! Had a good time listening to the tunes I grew up with. I didn't like the fact that some people had to arrive after the show started and many of them disrespectfully stood right in front of us who were already in our seats trying to watch. The ushers should have done a better job directing them to their seats.
I was quite frankly very surprised that Loverboy was as good as they were. What a great night! The one thing that made it such a great concert experience apart from the great musicianship and vocals was that the audience was really into it. Nothing worse than going to see a concert and the crowd is sitting on their hands. This was not the case for Loverboy. Everyone in the joint was rocking and singing so loud we actually drowned out the band on a couple of occasions. My brother-in-law and myself were on the floor and it was great! Really re-lived some young men memories and as usual the Club Regent Event Centre venue was superb. The sound was spot on. Not overwhelming loud in an effort to drown out their imperfections but loud enough to remind you you're at a rock concert. Really had a great time.
Loveboy concert was fabulous, their songs are still as popular today as they were 40 years ago. Really enjoyed the whole thing, wish they could have stayed longer and did more songs for us but totally loved it.
It was amazing. Their music took me back in time..
Mike and the guys put on an amazing show! Brought back a lot of good old memories hearing these songs again!
Was an incredible show, tickets never arrived in the mail had to call and have them picked up at the box office.
First time at Colosseum in Windsor. Great seats in a 5000 seat venue. Tough getting in and out venue though. Very little signage. Familiar with both bands although not a huge fan of either. Trooper opened and was surprisingly the better act, tighter and seemed to enjoy themselves more. Loverboy sound was loud and distorted at times. By the time Loverboy launched their bass and drum solo near the end of their set people were streaming out, including us.
The concert was awesome. Both Trooper and Loverboy sounded great and the musicians were fantastic at their instruments. I would highly recommend seeing these guys while they are touring. Both bands played all my favorites
have seen them many times but this time wasn't the same. Spyder is still awesome on the bass
Amazing show. Non stop music brought back some awesome memories.
For this show, overall I found the sound horrible (if not ugly). Although, Loverboy played many of their hits the sound totally sucked starting with barely being able to hear Mike Reno's voice. The guitars seemed off and the mix distorted! Later on the sound seemed to get better but it still wasn't good. Paul Dean and Spider were very showy. When they played "The Kid Is Hot Tonight" it was a bit more upbeat but the sound just didn't seem right. Anyone should know at this venue that people with tickets in the first 3 rows can leave their seats and stand right up front at the stage. Special wristbands are given out. Security had problems with a few people who came up to the stage from further back. I sat row 2 and was okay with people stand right at the stage. The view is good other than having to look around lots of arms and heads.
I saw lover boy years back at River Cree and it was fantastic! I was excited to see them again because the last show was so fun! So disappointed
It was truly amazing to watch how effortlessly they played the instruments. Each member got to show off there specialized skill.
Great concert, Mike still has it as does the rest of band very together well put together concert.
Could not hear the singer as the music was too loud..not sure if it is the venue or sound man that is at fault
I took my mother, as they are one of her favorite bands. Honestly I wasn't expecting much, but they put on a great show! They did all of their hits (including a few I didn't know they sang). Great show and stage performance! I would recommend it to anybody who is even remotely a fan!
Overall, a good show. Played all there hits. Nice to see that they allowed the first couple rows to stand right up at the front of the stage. Usually the security escorts people back to here seats.
I have attended numerous events at River Cree previously, and the Loverboy concert did not disappoint. I sat in the VIP section and met several new friends as we sang and danced our hearts out.
