True to form she threw in some surprises. Most notably playing a super funky blues version of Radiohead's 'Creep'. Who would have thunk that that song had funk? It was my first time at River Rock and really that was the only glitch for me. The venue is fine and as soon as the music started we danced our way to the front of the stage and shook throughout the performance. It's just that for Macy I would have hoped for better- bigger, all dance floor, a super packed house, somewhere downtown like at the Comodore. She deserves it and perhaps it's just me but, regardless how nice the venue is, playing at a casino seems...um...second rate and suited for performers now on the B list. That being said, she funkified the place and yeah, like I said, she can do no wrong.

by DABB on 2011-01-24River Rock Casino Resort - RichmondRating: 1 out of 5Macy was 30 min late starting , I was in row 4 and had excellent seats , it looked like the first song she lipped sinced, but she definatley sang the rest of her songs , the band was on stage for 1 hour and 20 minutes and her back up singer who was amazing sang 3 of those songs ,,, Macy looked like she was under the influence of alcohol or drugs or both ,,,,after the second song the crowd was into it and the front was full of people dancing and enjoying them selves maybe im to critical but i wouldnt see her again
