About

Madison Beer is a pop singer from Jericho, New York. As a young teenager, she first went viral in 2012 after Justin Bieber shared her YouTube cover of Etta James’ “At Last” on social media. Beer quickly signed a record deal and began releasing singles like 2013’s “Melodies” and 2014’s “Unbreakable.” As She Pleases, her debut EP, was released in 2018 and became her first entry on the Billboard 200. In 2020, Beer released her debut album Life Support, which included the fan favorite single “Selfish.” In 2023, the rising star’s sophomore album, Silence Between Songs, scored a Grammy nomination for Best Immersive Audio Album. Elsewhere, she is also one of the voices behind the virtual K-pop group K/DA. In 2024, Beer will embark on The Spinnin Tour across Europe, the U.K. and North America.

    Venue was terrible

    by A. on 2021-11-20

I went to the opening night show and Madison was absolutely outstanding her stage presence was great. Her vocals were incredible. The set was gorgeous and the whole time she was performing it was amazing. Now some problems… ( NONE are Madison’s fault whatsoever and i’m not lowering her review score to anything other than a 5 ) The audio was very noisy and not in a good way. There was quite a few production issues as well. Before we even got into the concert we waited almost 2 hours to get in and the show started later than it was supposed to as well. She had 2 openers and personally I feel like their sets were a bit too long. The entire show there was zero covid protocols in place and security was absolutely horrific. It was literally rent a security like they picked these guys off of the street. Staff was terrible and I would never go to this venue again. Madison was better than I could’ve ever imagined though, definitely will see her again.

    LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT HER PERFORMANCE

by Anna on 2021-10-28Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Toronto

She was absolutely amazing and so was the production. Only reason it's not 5 stars is that there was a huge line up outside in the cold and she didn't start until almost 3 hours after the start time.

Madison is great!! but tech. glitches & lack of covid safety

    by <3 on 2021-10-24L'Olympia - Montreal

Madison was amazing!! She sings beautifully, and has great stage presence. However, 2 aspects could be improved: 1- COVID security: the verification of vaccinal passports was really not adequate, they did not check everyone as people added themselves to the queue after the others were already scanned, but since there was no way of knowing who had been scanned and who had not, it is very likely/possible that some unvaccinated people got into the venue... I would have felt much safer if there had been a wristband given to everyone whose vaccinal passport and ID had been checked, and if no one that did not have said wristband was denied entry. Additionally, since many people took off their masks once inside the venue, it would be safer to have one empty seat between each group of people that bought their tickets together, so that the people taking off their masks do not risk spreading COVID to groups nearby. 2-technical stuff: there were technical issues, such as the music and Madison's mic lagging. It made it really hard for her to sing since the beat was altered, and it made the listening experience decrease in quality for us, since the music was cut every second or so. This impacted her encore and about one or two songs during the concert, so we were not able to have a proper encore because of the technical glitches. Apart from this (which was not her fault, just suggestions for the venue), Madison was great <3

Was an amazing show but way too short

    by N. on 2021-10-23

The line up had 2 artists before madison, both of them had sang for like 2 hours? Then we waited for madison for a good 30 minutes and when she was performing (SHE WAS AMAZING DON'T GET ME WRONG) it was literally 40 to 50 minutes??? And the last 3 songs had audio issues so that took away 10 minutes of a proper performance. (I know it wasn't her fault but the people in charge of the audio should've fixed it as soon as the issue came up). My next point is a little rant that doesn't involve the concert but the fan meet at the end of the show. Me and my friend waited 2 hours after the show to meet Madison and as soon as it was our turn to take a pic/talk to her. She left :/ I know I'm not entitled to any kind of interaction with her but it really hurt seeing her talk/take pics with everyone and then being the last one there waiting for my turn and she just leaves. Anyway great performance, just too short and terrible/unprofessional staff at the Montreal venue.

Amazing show, beautiful music; it felt like a dream

Truthfully, her music felt like it was made to be performed in a concert. Everything from the set decor to the pacing was amazing.

    Opening Night

by Tavi on 2021-10-22Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Toronto

I went to the opening night of the tour in Toronto and my seating was really unfair. I had Meet&Greet tickets but was 4th row while General Admissions were in front. It was unfair for those who paid a lot more money! Besides that, the concert was amazing.

    Wonderful Experience

by Jack L on 2021-10-22Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Toronto

I went for both the supporting act Maggie Lindemann as well as Madison Beer, both artists were very talented, knew how to work the crowd, and had lots of style. Maggie went for more of a live band show and her vocals were amazing. Madison had dancers, lots of props and visuals which really helped make the experience magical. Me and my girlfriend loved the little quirks and details that the artists put into their performance and overall it was a great experience.

    happy

by gabby on 2021-10-21Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Toronto

madison beer is an incredible performer and artist. she was absolutely unbelievable and insane to see live. the only thing was ticketmaster changing the venue 4 days before the show. i get it because of restrictions, but it caused a lot of stress for fans in terms of arranged seating and separation from friends. in conclusion, the artist was great, changing venues was not ideal.

Amazing performance, Venue was a mess

by Mikayla on 2021-10-21Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Toronto

Madison was amazing! The venue and staff however was completely disorganized. They forced us into randomly assigned seats instead of a first come first serve which is was it was supposed to be, we all had GA tickets but it was changed to seated. And they just randomly assigned tickets in no order so M&G people were in the back of floor and regular GA were in the front. Security did nothing to help people get their seats and told people to sit wherever and ignore the assigned seats. It was a complete mess. I waited in line from 9 am to 5pm and was 10th in line, with M&G tickets and was 4th row. People who showed up at 4pm with regular GA were front row. So disappointed with the venue staff.

    Decent

by Elena on 2021-10-21Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Toronto

I loved how intimate this venue was, and the seats were super comfortable!! The only thing that it was lacking was proper food. Our concert wasn’t on time, so instead of doors opening at 6:30, we didn’t get in until 8:30. And after all of that, there was only chips and chocolate bars to choose from for food... As someone with a special diet, I was extremely disappointed to only be able to eat chips for my supper. Other than the lack of food, I did enjoy the venue.

    Venue was not it!!

by Emilia on 2021-10-21Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Toronto

Changed venue last minute and gave everyone in the group random seats! Claimed they wanted social distancing in the venue but crammed us all in like sardines waiting for our seats to be available!

Love her music but set was short

by Pauliners on 2018-05-16Velvet Underground - Toronto

I love Madison Beer’s music and the visuals were beautiful I loved the set up. But it was disappointing because I was so excited to se where but she only ended up performing for 40 minutes, making it the shortest concert I’ve been to. The show was done by 9:20.
