Madonna launched her debut tour in 1985 — The Virgin Tour — in the United States and Canada. Shortly thereafter, she toured the world for the first time, embarking in 1987 in support of Who's That Girl. Over the ensuing four decades, Madonna would ignite the world with the most controversial and dynamic pop shows ever mounted, selling out nearly every tour — in its entirety — in seconds. I've seen her three times now. Once in New York (2001) and twice in Toronto (2004 & 2008) and every time I was shocked by how amazing and over the top the productions are. The stages, the remixes, the dancers and Madonna herself are always top notch. Even if you're not a mega Madonna fan yourself you'll have a great time. Definitely one of the very few performers who puts this much effort into her shows.
2 hours late, angry performer... would never go to see again... Gwen Stefani blows Madonna out of the arena without the excessive cost...
