MAJID JORDAN IN CONCERT:
Pop duo Majid Jordan dropped their self-titled debut album in early 2016 to critical and commercial success, cracking the Top 10 on the R&B charts before kicking off their first-ever tour. The Drake protégés have certainly gotten a boost from their relationship with Drizzy, but they hardly needed it – their minimal yet soulful sound stands on its own, drawing listeners in with catchy hooks, slick beats, and painstaking attention to sonic detail. During their first round on the road the pair impressed fans with serious swagger and slayed stages big and small with the one-two punch of Majid Al Maskati's sensual croon and Jordan Ullman's cutting-edge production skills. Drake has an eye for talent, and ticket buyers lucky enough to catch Majid Jordan live will have no trouble seeing why he took them under his wing.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Majid Al Maskati and Jordan Ullman met in the early '00s while they were studying at the University of Toronto. After bonding over music they started working together in Ullman's dorm room studio, and things instantly clicked. The pair released a mixtape under the moniker Good People, and within 24 hours they had been contacted by Drake's people. After joining the rapper's then-fledgling OVO Sound label the pair co-produced Drake's 2013 chart-topper "Hold On, We're Going Home," and in 2014 they made their debut as Majid Jordan with the OVO-released EP A Place Like This. They followed up with the single "My Love," a collaboration with Drake, and in 2016 they cracked the Top 20 on both the R&B and Hip Hop charts with their self-titled debut album. The record's success drew them out for their first tour, and they've been killing it with next-level performances ever since.
This was my second time seeing Majid Jordan and I was just as blown away the second time. The quality of their concerts are truly amazing. Majid’s voice is somehow better live and Jordan always shows his prowess at making the music come alive.
THE. BEST. EVER!! Went to their show in Dec 2021 and had an amazing time. This time around was even better! Majid and Jordan make the perfect duo. Hearing them live just makes my heart so happy. Their talent is unmatched! We enjoyed every second of it!! Lost my voice the next day but I would do it all over again 😂 Whenever they’re in town you have to go you won’t be disappointed! On top of all that they’re the most sweetest guys ever. They truly care for their fans. Love them! Can’t wait for the next one <3

Majid Jordan gave us a seamless performance of the entire new album, Good People, then took it back in time for OG fans. My third time seeing them in Toronto and they did not disappoint as usual.
This is my second time watching Majid Jordan perform and they exceeded my expectations as usual. They are great performances, very engaging with the crowd and overall, genuine and humble individuals. Probably one of the best concerts I’ve been to, and would go to a 100 more of their concerts over and over again.
I’ve been a fan of Majid Jordan for a while and this is the first time I’ve seen them live. Great show top to bottom for the two nights at History. If you like the R&B duo, make sure you see them live!
Good People live concert (at the History venue in Toronto) was simply amaziiiiing. It was a great and unforgettable night, Majid Jordan are very talented and hearing them live exceeded my/our expectations, very talented and the energy was great. Peace and much much love.
