About

GRAMMY® Award-nominated songwriter, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Wolfgang Van Halen continues to separate Mammoth from the pack. The music stands alone on a foundation anchored by his impressive sonic proficiency (across drums, bass, keys, and guitar) and airtight arena-size hooks with unforgettable vocals. He harbors an irresistible signature sound, inventive vision, and incomparable identity vaunted by a fervent global fanbase. For as unique as the music is, his story so far proves to be just as unprecedented. This is arguably the first hard rock act to genuinely break out from ground zero in the 2020's, generating north of 100 million streams, toppling charts, and selling out headline tours less than five years since its debut. Back in 2021, Mammoth's first offering, Mammoth WVH, took flight, bowing at #12 on the Billboard 200 and capturing #1 on three Billboard charts--Top Hard Rock Albums, Top Independent Albums, and Top Rock Albums. "Distance" soared as the first of two #1 Rock Radio Hits and earned a GRAMMY® Award nomination for "Best Rock Song." Two years later, Mammoth II only saw him pick up the pace. It debuted in the Top 5 of the Billboard Top Album Sales Chart in addition to bringing him back to #1 on the Top Hard Rock Albums Chart. It incited widespread applause from Rolling Stone, Guitar World, GRAMMY.com, Classic Rock, American Songwriter, and KERRANG! The band canvased the globe with Metallica and Pantera and supported Foo Fighters in North America as well as filling houses on their own. They performed on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel LIVE!, at MusiCares 2024 gala in honor of Jon Bon Jovi, and Wolf took the stage at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame® Induction of Ozzy Osbourne. Now, Wolfgang pushes forward on Mammoth's third full-length solo LP, The End [BMG].

Mammoth VH put on a classic show, one of those I remember when Mammoth VH rocked the Beanfield, where were you? Excellent sound, music and the place was packed,

  • Take A Bow!

by T-Man on 2023-11-16The Danforth Music Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

My wife and I have never been to the Danforth Music Hall before! When you walk in you can just feel the history oozing from the walls! The entire show was fantastic! Kicked off by Nita Strauss she got the audience into the right groove! When Mammoth WVH took the stage, we were all waiting for the next generation of Van Halen to unleash their performance! To say the least, we were not disappointed!! From the first song (Right?) to the last encore song played the band were absolutely on point and tight! Their performance exceeded my expectations and I can GUARANTEE the next time they hit Toronto, the venue will be a hell of a lot bigger! Keep it going Wolfie! The rock world is yours and we are ready for the ride!!

  • Mammoth WVH

by OZMAN on 2023-11-16The Danforth Music Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Mammoth WVH were on fire, they put on a great show, however, the lighting at the Danforth Music Hall was brutal, anytime any member stepped forward of their mark they were in darkness which detracted from the experience as you couldnt see what they were doing, so Wolfie was ripping some wicked riffs but we couldnt see what was happening on the fretboard..

  • Amazing band. Sound man should be fired

by Melody man on 2023-11-16The Danforth Music Hall - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

The band was amazing as always, but the kick drum thunder was overwhelming... It stupid loud with all kinds of overtones... My chest and seat were rumbling with every kick... Opening band didn't have this issue. I had to wait in the lobby.

They are all about the music. This was the second time I had seen them in concert and the first headlining. The development was notable, the music was exceptional Wolf is extremely talented at writing playing and performing and has put together a band of talented musicians. Special note to Ronnie one of the highest energy bassist I have ever seen. He was like the energizer bunny. Let’s not forget uncle Pat who is such a great person and is the ribbon that ties them together. They are a family of like minded musicians.
