We enjoyed it tremendously! It was exactly what I expected.
The location and performance was amazing ! Left in awe Recommend šÆ
Attended the pops concert with my two children under 12. Everyone loved the performace! The musicians and conductor were very good. It could have been our seats, but the accoustics of the hall weren't very balanced, which was a real shame because while the tympanist was fantastic, I would have enjoyed also hearing the rest of the orchestra when they both played. We will certainly be patrons again in the future.
The director and the orchestra were great. What a beautiful selection they chose and they were kind enough to play an extra song at the end.
This was my first classical music concert (I normally attend guitar-heavy shows). The musicians were all incredibly talented, and performed Beethoven's Symphony No. 6 and Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 4 expertly and with passion. Overall it was an excellent evening!
This was the first orchestra performance Iād ever been to. Iāve been wanting to forever and I am so happy I finally did! The show was stunning. Iāll definitely be going again.
The biggest problem was the late comers was very disruptive as a result we can not be concentrate watching and listening to the music. Some people are late 15 minutes, some half hour and some 45 min. This place is not strict with the time. We consider not to come back anymore.the concert we attend April 29
It was my first time watching an orchestra concert. I was blown away by the performance. Would definitely watch Mandle Philharmonicās concert again.
I love western classical music, wanted to go to a live performance since forever and I was not disappointed. The only I faced was the staff at Meridian who wouldn't help us locate the doors, there were 3 doors and two locked, entry was through the back door which we were led to by the hand gestures of the staff behind the glass. There should better instructions for entrance.
First of all, the seating at the Meridian Arts Centre is beyond bad. Hard, tiny seats, as soon as you are a bit overweight, you will feel uncomfortable. The sound is one of the worst I have ever experienced. You would not hear the difference if the orchestra played allegro or adagio. Therefore it made listening to it a total bore. Last but not least, the orchestra seriously needs to improve, they weren't IN sync a lot of the time. We left during intermission.
Great performance! Pieces were fun even if a little standard. Conductor was funny. The best thing is the price.
A new orchestra with an "amateur" conductor put on a thoroughly enjoyable performance. The music was beautiful and the orchestra sounded great.
They played beautifully like they have been together for years. I would see them again without hesitation. Well done.
Mandle Cheung and philharmonic performance was amazing! He has created an amazing ensemble. The show on December 3rd was beyond my expectations. Canāt wait to attend future performances.
This was my first time going to a symphony. It was a great experience for Christmas.
The washroom was outside The staffs were very helpful
I would give 3 stars for this performance. Considering all the restrictions it was a good concert and live classical music makes a huge difference. Even if the musicians are not constantly playing together, and it showed, they manage to pass the emotion and the messages of the pieces performed. We went home and listened other recordings made by other orchestras and in the end was a great evening.
It was a nice show. The Beethoven piece was a little bit boring but the Tchaikovsky was awesome.
It is my first symphony and I absolutely loved the performance!
