  • Same show, 365 days later

by WindsorTenor on 2011-02-20Casino Windsor - WindsorRating: 2 out of 5

I saw this act in Detroit a year ago. I was hoping something would be different. Not in the least. Same songs, same banter, same, same, same. Come on guys. You have a whole year to freshen the act. It didn't help that the Colosseum sound and light folks couldn't get their act together. Overall, not impressive at all. I would recommend to anyone that has not already seen them. But..see them somewhere else!

The video display did not work during the first part of the concert and was a distraction to the great music. This created a disjointed show.

  • Manheim Steamroller was a great night.

by vixxdog on 2010-12-13The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - WindsorRating: 4 out of 5

Manheim was great. The sound guy for the Casino was way off. Missed lots of cues. Didn't ruin the show, but was totally annoying. The venue is great. The video screens flashed on and off all night, very cheap and shoddy. Turned a first class act into a so - so act.

As usual they had lots of effects and amazing instrumentals. We so appreciate their willingness to come to Windsor and make our holidays rock!

  • Mannheim Steamroller

by sunny123 on 2010-12-12The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - WindsorRating: 2 out of 5

Music was good but the intermission for musicians as opposed to singers was too long. Other singers we have seen sang for much longer with no intermission. First half just ended. Second half ended abruptly with no real transition period. Also the screens worked only in the second half and should have shown the small picture that was behind the musicians rather than the musicians.

They put no effort into this show. there was no stage decoration. No real "entertaining". They sttod there and played the music then left. Even had a 20 minute intermission. When they returned after their break the were disjointed. I was so excited to go to this show and so let down at the end.

  • Great

The show was great. Not long enough (of course). Everyone at Caesar's was friendly and more than helpful. Good job.

  • Excellent entertainment.

Classical and soothing. We strongly recommend Mannheimer to our friends.
