Was really good ' never been in seats before there ' was my old ladys frist time there ' show was very personal ' Matt was funny & great with the crowd ' nice being in the East End to see shows ' love being home ..đđ
Always puts on such an awesome show. Super interactive and down to earth.extremely talented and his voice is incredible!! The venue was the Danforth Music Hall. Not such a fan of the people yelling what he should play but maybe thatâs just me.
As usual, and despite feeling under the weather somewhat, Matt put on a fantastic show. We heard many favourite songs, plus one I have never heard him play live - Change of Season. He also sang â99% of Us Is Failureâ a cappella, and âLos Alamosâ in full dark (on the stage, and most of the rest of the theatre). Canât wait to see him play with a band again next year - will be more than 3 years since he last played with a band, since just before the pandemic lockdowns.
Loved the fact he went to the bar for a drink and sang in the crowd so everyone had a front row view. His performance never disappoints.
Matthew Good has always been a hero of mine. Enough so that I'm scared to meet him in case he shatters my veiw of life. As a teenager I listened to him religiously. Everyday. Every emotion I felt, there was a Matthew Good song that felt it first. It kept me sane and made me who I was a young man. I used to be a runner and I would go on hour long runs listening to Vancouver and lights of endangered species as I ran through and across my town with a Matthew Good army toque on. I cannot wait to share my experience of listening to such a fantastic musician with my fiance and my kids. Thanks Matthew Good for making such good music.
For decades, Matthew Good has been a vital voice in the Canadian songbook, with his band and now as a solo artist. As years pass, Good further eschews what commercialism demands, choosing instead to focus on lyrics that cut to the heart of the human experience and our world politics, and bringing a live show filled with banter, depth and candor. I've had the privilege of seeing him 40 times now, and this show was stellar as always. Good brought a mix of his new album's strongest selections alongside staple hits of the back catalogue and standout selections well suited to the new album's themes of heartbreak and reflection (Something Like a Storm was a highlight juxtaposed alongside tracks like One Of Them Years and Dreading It, which saw Good jumping into the crowd to sing). Good knows how to balance his diehards and casuals, but is beyond trying to top the charts. He's here to speak truth and make art that endures, like Waters or Dylan. If that's what you crave, you will never be disappointed. If you're here for, as he jokes, a 90 minute version of Load Me Up, stay home. The 2000s are long gone - and he's made far better material, if you'd open your ears to it.

Matt and his band put on an awesome show. Haven't seen them live in about 20 years. They didn't disappoint. Can't wait ser them live again.
Absolutely fantastic show! Ellevator and the born ruffians were great. Matt delivered an amazing set. Crowd was pumped up and singing along. Meridian hall is a fantastic venue for the sound quality. Thank you Matt!
Awesome show! He came out into the crowd and i was able to get a video while he was singing. Best night EVER!! :)
Matthew Good was great as always. Opening acts were also wonderful. Nice venue - not necessarily the very best for a ârock showâ but due to the nature of its design, the sound was excellent.
Great view. Great show. Glad not everyone showed was able to move even closer.
This was my third time seeing Matt Good live, and It was a great show! Matt always leaves his heart on the stage, one of the best Canadian bands we have today.
Matt puts on.an outstanding show every time I see him in concert. Tonight was no different. Sweet takes on both new and classic tunes.
A mix of old and new (with a band) made this an amazing concert!!!
Needed to play more of their hits. Only on for an hour which wouldâve been fine if they played 5-6 bangers
Matt is an amazingly talented artist that , like many gifted individuals, deals with his demons through his music. The lighting, music and atmosphere was intoxicating ....... no alcohol needed!!!!!
Third time seeing him. First time was 20 years ago. Such a great voice. The venue was great. Probably the smallest venue I've been to and the sound was awesome. Never heard the opener Elevators before and they were great.
Matthew Good still sounded great but I was disappointed he didnât play Indestructible, Weapon and Everything is Automatic. Those are some of his best tunes.
