This was my 10th concert for Matthew Good that I've been to. I keep coming back every time because he's always entertaining, always trying something new. He talks and connects with the audience and his dry, quick witted sense of humor is, in my opinion, one of the hilights of the show. Not to mention the energy and enthusiasm he brings to his music each and every time. I loved this venue, and the music and artist were, obviously, to my liking. :) 10/10 would recommend.
The Matthew Good band never fails to deliver, was an awesome show. Have seen the band many times and loved every show.
I've seen Matt Good at least 7 times and this was not one to remember. Way too many rants and "discussions" with the audience, which were often incoherent and irrelevant ramblings.
Good show in an intimate venue with great lighting. Matt Good was at ease and had fun with the crowd and the crowd clearly had a good time too. I didn't realize he had quite so many songs to slit your wrists to though. The set could have used a few faster pieces.
The best shows he's done since the White Light tours. Hearing Beautiful Midnight from Top to bottom was incredible.
Matt Good puts on a fantastic show. Would definitely go see him again!
To buy tickets to a Matthew Good concert, is to know you're going to have an awesome time and see an incredible show. The night did not disappoint!
This was my husband and I's favourite Matthew Good album. And for the tour he played the entire thing start to finish! He interacted with the crowd and gave us a great show. He is sheer talent and if you have not yet seen him perform live you have to change that!!!
Beautiful Midnight was the first album I ever purchased as a teen, and to see it played live 18 years later was absolutely amazing. His voice is unreal, and the whole album was played with a full band. Seriously considering going again in another city if I can find tickets. The show blew me away!!!
Thought the sound wasn't great at the Danforth Music hall for this show. I think it was a good show but it's tough when you play an album front to back like that.
Matt Good is one of those performers that sounds better live than his recordings. His distinctive voice I could listen to all night. Real treat seeing him for the third time
I am 60, my wife is 59 and we took the average age in the crowd up a bit!! What a show!! We are seasoned veterans going to concerts and this one was right up there! Great venue, sound was awesome! Met a couple of guys from Virginia after the show at the Sheraton.....Virginia!! This guy has some serious fans out there!
Nice to hear my favourite Matthew Good album played in its entirety.
This was the first concert I've actually left before it was done. The sound was terrible. The lighting was even worse. You couldn't see the lead singer for most of the show. It's like the sound and spotlight guy took the night off.
Considering the fact that Matt was sick, his performance was absolutely spot on. The vibe of the crowd was pure love for his amazing talent.
Amazing show and great venue. A good change from the Toronto scene! The opener was amazing too!
He is so good live and the band was tight. Great acoustics at this venue so it sounded really good.
This show was ALL the old stuff exactly how it sounds on the CD. The perfect show in my opinion. I wish I could go again. The only thing it was a sit down event, so rocking out was limited, Lucky for me I was 2 rows front he back so I was able to stand up and enjoy.
Truly an amazing experience. He played Beautiful Midnight in it entirety from beginning to end. An iconically Canadian rock album.
