by Angel1965 on 2011-03-21Red Robinson Show Theatre - Coquitlam

I am so glad I went and participated in this concert! It was more than I expected it to be! Listened to the cd's on the way home on Sunday and love all the songs Meatloaf has put out! I feel he has come back again to show everyone what real rock and roll is all about! Keep on rocking Meatloaf! Much appreciated! I would go see you again if I had the chance! Moi!

    Meatloaf was a flashback

by 67rsss on 2011-03-21Red Robinson Show Theatre - Coquitlam

We loved seeing Meatloaf again. I've heard the negative critics but for a 63 year old rocker, he still delivers.

    Still the showman

by Pharaoh63 on 2011-03-21Red Robinson Show Theatre - Coquitlam

Meat Loaf is still a crowd pleaser and he knows all the tricks. His performance was great for a 63 year old whose best days should be behind him. But he knows what works and is able to parlay that into a great 2 hour show filled with old and new, familiar and not so familiar, keeping the crowd engaged throughout. The show started as one would expect, with an old tune that almost everyone knows the words to. One lady had the audacity to leave her seat to come to the stage, but was quickly asked to return to her seat by an usher but that didn't last long as the consummate performer himself motioned with a wave that he wanted the fans down front and down front they came, echoing those olden days when it was festival seating and everyone tried to get up close. Dancing and swaying, singing and laughing, and he egged on the crowd to keep rocking, to get on their feet and enjoy life. Meat Loaf has always brought theatricality to his shows and it was on full display here. It was a night all will remember fondly and many of us will hope for a return engagement when we can enjoy it all over again.

    Meat Loaf is slowing down

by ptycakes on 2011-03-21Red Robinson Show Theatre - Coquitlam

Entertaining enough. His enthusiasm makes up for the diminished quality of his voice. I'm not sure if it was the venue though we have been to other concerts there and the acoustics have been great, but it seemed as if he held the microphone almost inside his mouth and all the lyrics were undistinguishable. If it wasn't for the music, you wouldn't be aware of what he was singing most of the time. Patti Russo and the band members were outstanding. Overall a fair evening.

The show was amazing! The band was crazy. Guitars were rocking, Piano was blasting, the Sax was amazing, the Drums were blasting....Patricia belted out the best, and Meat Loaf is a rock icon! Great Show.

meatloaf puts on a great show

by grammarocks on 2011-03-20Red Robinson Show Theatre - Coquitlam

Meatloaf is very good at getting the crowd into the music - he doesn't let anyone just sit - he insists that everyone loosen up and be part of the concert - He did change some of the arrangements of some of the songs and we liked them better the way he used to do them He had a lot of power in his voice considering he had just had an emergency root canal 48hrs prior to the concert.

    Meatloaf - fantastic

by Motorhead1970 on 2011-03-20Red Robinson Show Theatre - Coquitlam

Meartloaf has to be one of, if not the hardest working performer to ever grace the stage. His show was 2hrs & 15 min of non stop action. The back-up back was great esp. Patti Russo. This is one show after you leave you really feel like you have gotten your money's worth I would have gone again the next nite but already had plans. Highly recommended

Meat Loaf was a disgusting old man

by Monel on 2011-03-20Red Robinson Show Theatre - Coquitlam

It was over-priced when compared to Bon Jovi, who I will see next Friday - I paid less to see Bon Jovi, who is a much better artist. I never heard the word "fuck" so many times in one show. He is 63 and looks and acts like it - thought he was going to have a heart attack or die on stage. He kept looking up to God as if to say " are you taking me now?" I loved the old Meat Loaf music and that is why I went to see him, but there were way too may "f" bombs. I'm not a prude and use that word myself, but he overused it, and he was quite rude to the crowd. Also, the theatre shoud reconsider it's policy on alcohol. There were a lot of ignorant drunks right in front of the stage, where my seat was. I had to eventually move up the rows to another empty seat so I could see anything. His voice was not very good either. Maybe he needs to retire. For some reason he thinks he was a "sexy" person - NOT.

Good but with lots of f words

by burnabylemon on 2011-03-20Red Robinson Show Theatre - Coquitlam

Good show all around. His voice was a bit shakey but that was covered by his band and back up singers. Every second word was f. That got a bit tiresome.

    Meat Loaf better than expected

by vegasloops on 2010-08-22The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas - Las Vegas

Wow, what a great concert! I didn't think that he would be able to perform as good and as long as he did. The oldies were my favourite, or course, but the songs from the new CD were good enough that I now want to purchase. Venue was super and his band was ultra deluxe classy. The talent was incredible.

    Everything I had hoped for....

by GussBird on 2010-07-12Bank of America Pavilion - Boston

Best concert I've been to. Venue is second to none. Acoustics were phenominal and Meat Loaf and The Neverland Express were unbelievable. More like a theatrical production than a concert. Some of the best musicians in the world. A memorable experience.
