Melissa Etheridge is one of rock music’s great female icons. Her critically-acclaimed eponymous debut album was certified double-platinum. Etheridge’s popularity built around such memorable songs as Bring Me Some Water,No Souvenirs and Ain't It Heavy for which she won her first Grammy for Best Female Rock Vocal. Etheridge hit her commercial and artistic stride with her fourth album, Yes I Amfeaturing the massive hits I’m the Only One and Come to My Window, a searing song of longing that brought her a second Grammy. The six times platinum album spent more than two and a half years on the album chart. Etheridge is also an Oscar winner for Best Original Song in 2007. In 2011 Melissa made her Broadway debut as St. Jimmy in Green Day’s rock opera, American Idiot, where she replaced Billie Joe Armstrong for one week, and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Her most recent album, This Is M.E. was released on September 30, 2014.

From note #1 to the final bow she was energetic, fun stories, classics to new stuff, and an amazing drum segment!!
Melissa Ethridge can still put on a high energy rock show even after all these years. Her stunning voice was in great form. Melissa's guitar work is incredible. I believe she does not get enough recognition for how well she handle her guitars. She performed for 2 hours and covered a variety of her music from over the years. I have attended her concerts many times over the years, and she has never disappointed me. She has great interaction with the crowd and is very personable. I will definitely go see her again.
Her voice as great and full of texture. Delivers songs that grab you. Guitar yes such a talent
She cranked out lots of memorable songs from most of her earlier career and rocked them as if it was yesterday she just wrote them! Her guitar solos were incredible and the concert with that talent is never long enough!
How can someone sound better live than in a studio recording? Well she does it! Her voice and talent on stage is amazing. Love the way she interacts with us fans!
Had an awesome time , loved that no one was standing infront of me unlike other concerts I've been too.
Melissa is very good a playing the guitar. She also has a great voice. Surprised to see her in a pink Floyd tshirt from many years ago but added to the charm.
I love Melissa Etheridge and this was my first time seeing her in concert. She was awesome! Way better than I even expected. She hasn't lost any skills on the guitar and her voice is even better live!
On the 40th Anniversary of the death of Elvis Presley, and with the recent passing of Glen Campbell, live music was alive and very well. It was my third time seeing her in concert. She still is just as good if not better than the first show back in 1992 or the second time back in 1996. As a live performer, she is a great guitar player, one of the best in the world . Her songs and singing voice were still quite powerful even though it was her third show in three nights. How she is not been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is beyond me, even though she has been eligible for coming on 5 years. Highly recommended even if you've seen her before. A stronger recommendation for those who have never seen her before.
From opening to finishing she didn't drop a beat. She is a great musician. So talented. This was my first time seeing her. She is my partners all time fav musician. We sat 5 rows back, it was an unforgettable experience.
Totally awesome Melissa Rocked the joint I would definitely go see her again
She was totally amazing, strong clear vocals, multiple guitar solos, harmonica and even did a dual drum solo with her drummer. I was Thrilled to see her in small venue... Fantastic!!!
Melissa was awesome, her voice sounded the same as it did 20+ years ago. She can still belt those tunes out. Her stage presence was that of a rock and roller and she amused the audience frequently with her humour. Melissa was humble and could not thank the crowd enough for coming to see her and for appreciating her music. She also stated more than once that she liked Edmonton, had been here before, in the cold depth of winter, and will come back again. Melissa hinted at the troubles in the USA and commended Canada for having our business in order, mostly. Melissa's set list was made up of some oldies and some of her favourite R&B songs. Her long guitar solos were beyond amazing and she did these without the worn out look you see on some other soloists. The crowd just loved her and clapped, hooted and whistled after every song. At the end of her set after introducing her band and leaving the stage to a standing ovation, she just had to come back out for a long encore, the crowd still standing clapping and wanting more MELISSA!!!!! P.S. Although I loved Melissa and her music, I would not recommend any venue such as this, where the seating is not tiered. I had to look at the monitors most of the night to see anything as there was a disinterested (texting) 6+ ft. man in front of my five foot eye view.
Excellent concert I would definitely see her again
More than we expected. What an amazing musician. Vocals incredible. As good as she was 20 years ago.!!. Worth every penny. l Would definately attend again and again!!
Looked forward to this and what a great time! Melissa is fantastic with any guitar and all of her songs. Great performer and would go see her again and again and again!
Melissa Etheridge delivered a powerful performance and it was a joy to behlod. She blended old favorites and her newer music into a witty heart-felt concert. When she comes back I'll be first in line!
