Menopause The Musical 2 Tickets

The sounds system did not project well. After the evening their were numerous people with same concerns.

The show was good, however the acoustics were terrible for a production with so much vocal dialog. It was difficult to hear the nuisances of the words in their songs. The actors were animated and played their roles well, good story line, but again… the venue did not contribute to the show.

Very poor visibility. Stage too low. Screens very unclear. Poor sound acoustics. We only saw and heard 25% of the show, but, we all enjoyed it nevertheless. There were 20 people in our group aged 49 to 83.

The River Cree venue accommodates over 2000 people, but none of the rows are tiered or the seats staggered, therefore we could not see the stage as there was always someone’s head directly in our view. The acoustics were not great either! The show was funny, but would’ve been much better at a different venue. That being said, we will never go back to the River Cree.

The show was very good. This was probably not the best venue to have it at though. The sound was very mottled and often it was hard to hear/ understand what the actors were singing / saying. Also with all audience on the same level it was very hard to see the play over the people’s heads in front of you. I would think twice before attending an event at this venue to be honest

We absolutely loved this show! The dialogue /songs were realistic menopausal reactions and symptoms. It was hysterical and kept us in stitches during the entire performance. Never a dull moment- the acting and singing were superb! Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, the venue of River Cree theatre was not the best choice of venue for this production. It did not have good acoustics so we could not hear/understand quite a lot of the show. I’m sure we missed a lot of “one liners” which is what makes the show so funny. The projection screens could have been much better as well - enlarged so we could see the performers. That said, there were a lot of laugh out loud moments which we thoroughly enjoyed. If this was performed at a different venue we would love to see the complete performance again. Overall we did enjoy the show, and so many tunes were still playing in my head the following day!

Not nearly as good as the first one. Very disappointing. The acoustics in the venue were very poor. Couldn’t understand the words in the songs. Not worth the money.

I had not gone to the River Cree venue for an event prior to this one and I will not go back. The sound was terrible, muffled and an echo, could not understand the words. The seating is not good, flat floor along with uncomfortable chairs. Unfortunately the musical may have been great if the sound was better. Very disappointed!

The show itself was probably good but the venue was so bad that we could not see or hear. It helped that they had 2 screens on the side but they never blew up the picture and lighting bad so could not see screen clearly. Seated in Row I and as soon as tall people in front of you blocks the view. Then to get out of the event took over 45 minues due to traffic light exiting West of parking lot.

The show was very funny and could relate to it easily. The ladies had great voices and enjoyed the music.

This musical was so well done. We laughed from start to finish! Fabulous entertainment. My only complaint and reason for four (not five stars) was the venue was sooooo smokey from the casino. As someone with sensitivity to cigarette smoke it was disgusting. Grey Eagle designed this venue poorly with the smoking section right off of the casino opening into the same hallway as the venue for the shows. I think just for this reason alone, I would not go there again.

There was nine long time girlfriends gathered to take in Menopause 2. I organized the event because I had seen Menopause 1 at Lethbridge a few years ago. I was nervous as to whether Menopause 2 would compare. Well, it did! Everyone so enjoyed the show. We all laughed all the way through it and the ending song about friendship brought tears to everyone’s eyes. I would recommend this show to everyone.

Good music. Didn't hear some of the words though because of sound system. Great performers. A pleasant evening.

Laughed all evening. A phenomenal range of music, with lyrics that I am still singing in my head. The writers hit the nail on the head. Outstanding performance.

This show was hilarious, relatable, and a great little poke of fun at “cruising through” menopause! The actors were spot on, believable, and such skilled singers! The songs are still dancing around in my head! Absolutely a “Must - See”.

As good as the first one. Haven’t laughed that hard in a long time. Great evening!!!!!!

Menopause was hilarious & relatable. We all thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. The perfect blend of actors was a joy to watch. Thanks for a wonderful escape & evening!

The show was phenomenal. The singers had fantastic voices. The revised lyrics to recognizable songs were hilarious. Would watch again in a heartbeat.

Great music, funny and entertaining! Could hear the gals clearly when they spoke but for some reason was hard to hear the words to the songs when they were singing. Acoustics?
