MercyMe was more that I have imagined

by Cheeky1975 on 2015-12-02Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

It was an amazing concert, from start to end. There were a few songs that I did hope to hear...but the second half was all Christmas music, which was amazing. I loved the additions to some of our favourite Christmas songs. Mark, sharing his personal life and struggles made it a more personal and emotional show. They played amazingly well with the ESO, gave me chills the whole time.

Bart's voice is absolutely amazing. The band is incredible. I could have listened to them all night. The Edmonton Stmphony Orchestra was first class. What a great night.

    Mercy Me & ESO

by Mike7zs on 2015-12-02Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

First half was great. Both Mercy Me and ESO outstanding and moved people to tears. Second part was pretty much a disaster. Awkward arrangements, orchestra not into it, crowd not into it. Mercy Me whatever possessed to choose those christmas songs when dozens of others would have ensured a sing along and a good time. Big disappointment second half.

Excellent, wished that could have played longer. And wish they would have played more older hits

Would have loved if they played less Christmas

by Anonymous on 2015-12-01Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

They started out with their set with some of their biggest hits. This was out of this world. Truly breathtaking. They took a short break and came back with Christmas music and I just was not into it as much

    Worth the time and money

by Joyous2 on 2015-12-01Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

I enjoy the symphony and I enjoy MercyMe. Putting them together made for an incredibly memorable evening- there was a great sense of unity between the two groups and the music of both was enhanced. The lead singer for MercyMe has a great voice and a wonderful humble stage presence with a great sense of humour. The orchestral arrangements of the songs supported and enhanced the band without overwhelming them.
