MESHUGGAH RULES!!!! Saw in Winnipeg and was awed. Really unfortunate that they didn’t do the whole show on their own. Now that would have been to die for.
I was going to see In Flames and they delivered as always!!! The line-up of bands was great and we had an amazing night!!
All bands were excellent!! In Flames and Musshugah were the bomb!!
They are simply masters of harmonious chaos. But for the love, wear hear plugs!
I had a blast during this show! Whitechapel and In Flames were excellent! Meshuggah were good as always and Voivod were sick! I really appreciated the 4 bands and lenght of the show.
Such a wonderful concert: thank you to have come at Montréal! It's a shame the public was not very receptive, you deserve much better. Two of the introductive groups were good, one was not holding a candle though.
Extraordinaire! 10 sur 10 gros gros show de djent!
I was aware of the quality of Meshuggah in live context...but i was not ready for that...My god... what a huge, powerful, immense, gigantic sound!!!!! The balance of the mix was(from where i was - Fredrik side) awesome!! I just want to see Mighty Meshuggah as soon as possible. It still hard to believe what i heard.
Truly a band that’s worth spending your last dollar for. Doesn’t miss a beat, insane performance from all members, clear concise and accurate at an unfathomable level. The one thing that doesn’t get the level of appreciation it deserves: the lighting/light tech. This was the first experience I’ve had that felt psychedelic, without the use of a drug. The way that the lighting is designed to match up with kicks/snares//riffs/chuggs/etc is mind boggling. Worth every penny and more.
Ive seen a LOT of shows and thisnone has been an amazing performance visually and musically! I would 1000% come back for Meshuggah!
It was a really good show aside from whatever that red stuff was that dyed everyone’s shoes. We had a good time.
Love love love this concert! White chapel, in flames and, ofcoarse, meshuggah were all awesome! One of the best concerts I’ve been too! The acoustics in the Burton Cummings theatre are the best I’ve ever heard!
There is nothing in the wake of meshuggah's career that compares to what they are capable of. Nor has any band before them come near the offerings had when experiencing meshuggah live. To an untrained mind, one may hear their music and think it is unholy and demonic... To me, it is instead an auditory elixer that unbinds us to the grand illusions of our existence. They are the strength, willpower, finesse and talent we need to push the boundaries of our conscious mind and to untangle the restrictions found in the ether. They are elevators of the human psyche which augments a shield around our energetic bodies after the show concludes.
An unbelievable band that is an absolute must see for any fan of the metal genre. They bring an amazing light show to accompany the brutal beats that vibrate the venue. One of the best metal shows I have seen to date bar none.
I had a great time at the show but the venue was too over crowded. Trying to get into the lineup for merchandise or to go outside for a smoke. To get through the crowd took a long time. Body on body contact was definitely not on my list of things to expect. Other than that the bands were great! Wish they were able to take out the seats on the floor for more standing room.
The show was awesome, but there was no communication about when the bands would start until just before the show, by then plans had already been made, and we missed Whitechapel!
It’s been a lot of years since being to a metal show. What a show to pick to come back to. It was electric and almost trance like if you can put those two things together. All bands where unreal Amazing performance by all
Wicked venue stand wherever you want , the mosh pit was alive and the music was amazing live.
