Simply incredible, just one bad thing we could hear Emily when she talked, aside from that truly an awesome show
You cannot go wrong by going to a Metric Show. I personally have been to more than 20 and each one just gets better and better. Thanks guys for an amazing show
Metric are phenomenal, their music presence is second to none.
Saw Metric in Ottawa and they were amazing! The setup and sound were incredible and the band’s performance was awesome!
Great concert, great band! Loved the light show too - it was mesmerizing! Only negative was that the sound was almost too big for the Orpheum.
This was one of the best performances I’ve seen in my life! Love Metric, loved the venue (NAC in Ottawa) and love the ambiance (lighting/sound). Thank you for an amazing performance ♥️🫶🏻🤘🏻
The concert was great. The concession stand had VERY limited snack options and the service was incredibly slow. Not enough staff at the bars.
Great concert. I have followed them from their beginnings. Always fascinated with Emily’s energy level. Mick Jagger on steroids. Each year they grow to a more polished band with great new songs. Emily’s emails on a regular basis especially during Covid to keep us up to date with their happenings was great P.R. Especially the personal touch which made one feel she was conversing with you. Great band, great show!!!
Great venue, excellent sound. Emily's voice still wonderfull
The event was awesome, and the opening act was great. Metric was fabulous, and the energy was amazing. The crowd was so into it. It was a great performance, and the acoustics were great. I would come to another show here again.
Metric was incredible, I would attend this band again if they come to Ottawa… the best concert I have seen in a long time. I love Emilie, her voice was out of this world experience.
I’ve liked Metric for a long time but this my first time seeing the group live. The venue was lovely (first time in NAC, floor seats) and I expected the sound would be very good. Alas, it was not great. The vocals were not mixed well, even when Emily was talking, it was difficult to understand what she was saying, let alone the songs’ vocals. Although Emily was certainly enthusiastic and energized during the encore set, the band looked like they were just going through the motions most of the time. Good musicianship nonetheless. So a one hour set followed by the mandatory encore set amounted to a pretty short concert for a band that has so much material to draw from.
Amazing venue, bands, evening. Metric is an amazing band.
Had an amazing time at the show and it was perfect as expected by Metric!
I've recently discovered this phenomenal band and this performance was an amazing dive into the world of their most recent works as well as the many hits they've put out over the many years of their incredible artistry.
Amazing show, I cried tears of joy. Go see them you won’t be disappointed!
This is one of the best concerts I've ever gone to. There was so much energy and excitement. The lighting was great, the band was throwing down banger after banger. Will definitely see them again when they return.
The show was amazing and they had the crowd on their feet, the ENTIRE time!!
attended this marvel, last minute, though, not on a whim. Stars collided around me in a way that brought me to the event alone. But, I wasn’t alone. I was there, on-stage with Emily; our Canadian Rock Royal and Last National Treasure, as she sang and twirled, dizzying me and 16,000 friends into a mystic transcendental haze. I will never forget that night in Toronto.
Great show but was really there to see Spoon. It was their only show in Toronto this tour and they haven’t played here in awhile. Britt Daniel and the band were very gracious but to be billed first at 6:30 in a day lit stadium, with people milling around talking and finding their seats, not fully engaged must have been a let down. I understand Toronto’s connection to Metric but I feel that could have been a totally different show. Spoon deserved better and I was disappointed as a fan in the order and timing of things. Also, there was an email to announce a change in the original time but it was very confusing and I could not get any clarification from replying to the email or from the ticket office.
