Michael puts on the most soul full, personal show ever. His light and genuine love for all people and the planet shines through in his music and his stories.

One of my fav artists and as he travels through the crowd there is never a bad seat. But the venue was great...intimate and cool on one of the hottest days of the year!

He put on a excellent show, the best I have been too in years.

But it was too loud. The sound engineer had the bass cranked. Thankfully I always carry earplugs. It is a smaller venue, is there a need for it too be so loud? All that does is distort the sound....

Venue ok but waaaaaay too loud. Why do you have to damage people’s hearing?

We took our friends to see Michael Franti at the Mandalay Beach Concert Series. We had previously seen him for the 1st time at SaskTel Jazzfest in June. He puts on such a fun concert. He was out amongst the crowd singing and interacting with them. Everyone is singing and dancing. A must see concert.

Great concert only complaint was that concert started an hour late because of the rain & the headliner Michael Franti was cut short!!! Next time cut the back up bands short! Otherwise would have given a five star

I had never seen SOJA play before and they blew my mind! That made the show worth it on it's own, but then Brett Dennen was great, and Spearhead (as always) created a music lovefest. One of the best shows I have ever experienced.

I've seen Michael Franti several times and he never fails to put on a phenomenal performance. I've never seen an artist interact with the crowd the way he does. I had goosebumps and a full heart the whole performance.

The opening act was sensational. Lots of energy. Michael and Spearhead played for two plus solid hours. Michael's contact with the audience and moving in the audience was exceptional. He really connected.

I had low expectations as I went to the Queen E for Hall and Oates and found the accoutics to be poor. Not so with Franti. His sound was great and he kept the audience on their feet all night long which surprised me for the venue. However that is what he is all about. He also spent half the night meandering through the crowd while singing and hugging all he could. the kids at the end on stage was a great touch. It really followed through with the meesage that runs through all his songs. Love...

Michael Franti put on a great show, as usual. His music is GREAT, the band sounded awesome. He loves the audience and every show I've been to, including this one, he hops down from the stage and just walks around the crowd giving high fives and hugs, to every section, even the balcony! it's really fun to watch and participate when he walked down my aisle!
