About

Songwriter, musician and performer Mitski has released five full-length albums. The most recent of which, 2018’s Be The Cowboy, was named Album of the Year by the likes of Pitchfork, Vulture, Consequence, ESQUIRE, and FLOOD, and the #2 Album of 2018 by The New York Times (Jon Pareles), NPR Musicand SPIN. It launched Mitski from cult favorite to indie star, landing her an extensive profile in The New Yorker and performances on Austin City Limits and Jimmy Kimmel Live! (she played The Late Show with Stephen Colbert following the release of 2016’s Puberty 2). After being off the road since September 2019, Mitski makes a daring return with new single/video “Working For The Knife,” which signifies a new intensity we haven’t yet seen from her yet. She’ll tour in 2022, playing theaters throughout the country, including Radio City Music Hall in New York, Shrine Exposition Hall in LA, Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, and more.

    Massey Hall

    by Nicole on 2024-04-17

This was an unforgettable night. Tamino who opened for Mitski really had my jaw on the floor with his vocals and the night only got better as Mitski began her set. The lights and choreography, just everything was so beautiful to witness and I would love to go see her again. My seats were amazing as well, it was such a gorgeous venue and tickets were affordable. All and all amazing!

This was my first concert and it was the best concert ever. I also enjoyed hurray for the riff raff, they had very good music. It was wonderful seeing Mitski in person.

I have taken my teenage daughter to Mitski concert and they had a fantastic time. Me too. I was very impressed with her performance of music and motion. I lived the atmosphere, a lot of young people, all in love with her music. The evening was perfect.

    Was fun ig

by Ren on 2022-08-16Deer Lake Park - Burnaby

This was my first concert ever. I went myself which was a bad idea because there was so much wait time :'). The performances were great and all, but I felt overall underwhelmed idk. It felt more of an art piece rather than for the music if you know what I mean? I love mitski but I think 1 live concert was enough for me. Maybe its the venue, maybe i just don't enjoy this kind of music live, but It was still fun in the end.

    best 1st concert!!

by humpty on 2022-08-16Deer Lake Park - Burnaby

i had never been to a concert prior to mitski, but i really really enjoyed it. she had such an amazing and entertaining style of performance, i felt mesmerized by her the entire time. mitski is my favourite artist and i’ve listened to countless interviews and studio recordings of her and her music and when i first saw her face on stage i almost started crying. i got pretty up close but it was a little difficult to have space in the pit but i assume it’s kinda like that at most general admission concerts. i could honestly listen to her talk and sing for hours, and she sounds even better in person. (which i didn’t know was possible lol) i cried multiple times during the concert but loved it nonetheless. the concert was emotional and beautiful i would definitely recommend.
