About

Citing unfinished business, bassist Jeff Pearce, keyboardist Kevin Young, guitarist Mark Makoway and singer David Usher have reunited as MOIST. From 1993 to 2001, over the course of three multiplatinum albums, MOIST led the vanguard of the Canadian alt-rock scene, sold over a million records and toured relentlessly from sea to sea to sea, literally. After an exhausting decade, the band went on hiatus in 2001 to take a breath, pursue divergent personal and professional trajectories, build families and find their lives outside of MOIST. Now, twenty years after the start of it all and with renewed vigour and an irrepressible urge to rock, MOIST is back and “The Resurrection” is upon us.

FANTASTIC CONCERT!!! 12 years later and the guys still rock hard. Good mix of oldies and new ones. Usher's voice was spot on. He was also very gracious and talkative to the crowd. Wish they were playing another night!

    great show

by stevo1982 on 2014-12-03Burton Cummings Theatre - Winnipeg

smashing satellites and Moist were great. Unfortunately the volume of the instruments was so high and the vocals so low, that it made it difficult to hear the lyrics a lot of the time. Not a problem for me since I knew most of the songs but I was with friends who were hearing it all for the first time and I felt like they missed out on a part of the experience.

    Moist was awesome

by Icecreamman on 2014-11-29Burton Cummings Theatre - Winnipeg

The opening act was ok. . Moist opened up with their new album and blew the doors open at the Burt. Unbelievable show. They sounded just like they did in the 90's

Moist is back better than ever!

by antonistony on 2014-11-25The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Simply put, the band put on a great performance. The sound was amazing. Stage presence was excellent. Moreover, this is not your typical reunion tour to relive days gone by, but rather a band with a solid catelog of songs including excellent integration of new material throughout the setlist. Definitely worth the price of admission.

Like being transported back to the 90's

by HKuffz on 2013-12-22Flames Central - Calgary

Great concert! Considering its been 13 years since they toured it was honestly like they never stopped. A fantastic band that can still put on an amazing show. Their choice for an opening act was good as well. I like how they picked a local band to get them more exposure.

It has been over a decade since Moist played last played together. It does not seem like they have lost the energy that made their live shows so good. I hope this is not the last show they do, becase it was nice seeing them again.

    Welcome back Moist!!!!

    by OldSchool1976 on 2013-12-20Métropolis - Montreal

I was both surprised and happy when I heard that Moist was reuniting. They had been one of my favorite bands in the 90's. I was a bit worried about how the show may turn out, given it had been roughly 13 years since they performed together, but from the moment they played the first note of Tangerine, I knew I was in for a great night. They really rocked the Metropolis, the crowd ate it up, and you would never have known they hadn't toured in over a decade. After the show it was all smiles from everyone as we left the building. What a great night.

    MOIST STILL HAS IT!

by shalala on 2013-12-05Sound Academy - Toronto

Had a great time. Moist was AMAZING!!!! The venue was unorganized but Moist made up for all the venues fails. I would see Moist again if they are to come back to Toronto. The sound that David Usher has is simply angelic and I am so glad that they got back together again. Brings back memories of my teenage years and I felt like I was sitting with friends and listening to a great cd!!!!!
