Mediocre
by Elle on 2023-07-25While I understand that rogers place is tight quarter, the stunts were very under whelming. The 2022 world tour that was held at commonwealth stadium was far superior. Stick the the larger venue.

I thought the show was good but I felt like they weren’t able to do as much as they could have the space was to small for the trucks, so they weren’t able to go all out like if there was a bigger arena but other than that it was a lot of fun.
Roger's Place is waaaayyyyy to small to host Monster Jam. Completely different experience than the usual Monster Jam madness. We won't attend if it is held here again. But we LOVE Monster Jam!
Seeing the trucks was incredible my son and nephew had a blast! Biggest dissatisfaction was the venue. An indoor arena felt way to small and most of the drivers stunts weren't being pulled off.
The overall event was good but it wasn't anything too crazy because of the small stadium we were in.
As a kid I always saw the Monster Jam ads however was always unable to go (money was super tight as a kid) however I recently was able to afford tickets for me and my parents. It was THE BEST TIME. Everything was super hyped, they ran the event experience extremely well and all the drivers were extremely talented. Even being an adult and going to this event I truly had such an amazing time seeing the trucks and the FMX team. I personally also got the Pit Party passes and meeting some of the drivers was also super cool and seeing the trucks up close was a great time. Overall would highly recommend and 100% will buy tickets if they come back to town!
WAY TOO small of a venue at Rogers Place in Edmonton. Last year was at Common Wealth Stadium OUTSIDE and the show was 100 times better. Way more tricks, flips and wrecked trucks. There were no wrecked trucks and no flips at all. My son was bored but was not last year.
Horrible way too small arena We left halfway through with a lot of people
Great show! Kids had a blast. Can’t wait for 2024 event!
Monster Jam continues to deliver unparalled entertainment value for the entire family. Men and women, boys and girls of all ages will enjoy the incredible sport of monster truck racing as presented by Monster Jam!
Small stadium, not enough ventilation. What happened to demo derby? I loved watching those cars crash into each other. The dirt bikes were cool but I would have preferred demo derby. Grave digger did ok but I was expecting more. Slightly disappointed!
Great show, kids were hoping to see cara get crushed. Small venue made it not happen.
Was the best Monster Jam show we have seen to date - the Motocross was amazing
I saw MJ once before at the Rogers Center and it was better. larger venue, more trucks, more obstacles, better atmosphere and easy transit. This show was a little weak, probably only 30 minutes of actual monster truck action and another 20 minutes of dirt bikes as part of an intermission. It felt too structured, with too much downtime. Seemed to be more emphasis on standings and a point system I can't figure out combined with lame driver rivalry. They were treating it like a sport. I don't see this as a sport, but perhaps I'm just old fashioned! lol. It's loud so bring hearing protection, and if you see this in Hamilton drive and park seemed to be the best option, but exiting the parking lot was frustrating and took any small joy away. They should have some paid duty traffic officers to keep things moving.
Was great to see monster jam in real life! We weren’t able to vote because the barcode was too high up though!
I believe the 2022 was better organized and put together than this year.I don't think im going next year again.
Great value for great entertainment :-) Amazing what the drivers can do in a vehicle with 1,500 HP, and weighs 6 tons!!! Grave Digger is awesome!!!
We were unable to use our 2023 tickets as my husband is in cancer treatments and was feeling unwell that day. In 2022 I bought tickets for the whole family and it was epic. We all loved it and would like to go every year.
We got the preshow pit party as well as the main event. The pit party was okay. We got to walk on the actual floor (dirt / ground) where the monster truck show was going to take place. We got to see the trucks up close and there was a meet and greet with the drivers. The main thing to do is to line up and get autographs from the drivers. You have to show on time and line up as as the lines close 45 minutes before the end of the pit party. The show was awesome as always. We have been to a few other shows that were not Monster Jam and we have been disappointed at the overall quality. Monster Jam is best monster truck show out there and the only one we will be going to moving forward. The trucks, the drivers, and the overall show is spectacular. This is our second year going and we will continue to go every year as it does not get old seeing a huge truck complete incredibly high jumps and back flips.
The event parking costs should be caped at 20 dollars max. The event it self was great. We need more affordable events for kids. 22 dollars for old popcorn and 2 drinks is just too much.
