Me, my hus, my son and nanny went with a bunch of neighbours. It was our first time... LOVED IT. Definately going again. Never a dull moment. Even during breaks they did some kind of event.

  • Monster Trucks - Fantastic

    by Aden07 on 2012-01-25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

I took my husband, my 6 year old son and my 4 year old daughter. This is the third time we've attended the event at the Rogers Centre and it's now an annual tradition. The venue is fantastic for this sort of show - big enough for all the trucks to get up and around (we've attended at Copps Colliseum before too - there's just not enough room there for a good show). It was the second day of a two day show. I find that on the second day, the drivers are always willing to go the extra mile, but usually the trucks have been damaged on the first day - and several of them are taken out of action too early. That being said though - we did enjoy (as we always do), Grave Digger. Seeing Northern Nightmare (a Canadian treat) was good too. We attended the pit party before hand - and while crowded, the drivers were all very friendly. We also enjoyed the motocross stunts and my son always enjoys the demolition derby. All in all though - a good time was had by the whole family.

the overall event was great, however, the amount of time between the pit party asnd the actual monster truck event is way too long. my 4 year old loves monster jam on tv, but fell asleep during the monster truck race due to having to sit for so long with nothing hasppening

  • Monster Scam

by edkarm on 2012-01-25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 1 out of 5

Arrived for Pit Party at 11:45 only to find out that it ends at 12 noon, then told we could not leave and reenter after 12. We sat for TWO hours until Monster Scam started at 2:00 pm, what a drag for my 4 year old grandson. Prices were outrageous for everything! A good time was not had by all.

  • Monster Jam

by TRedN on 2012-01-24Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

Had some excitement. But not nearly as entertaining as last year's event. Even Monster Truck freestyle, they were not taking as many risks as last year that raised more oohs and aahs.

Monster Jam is good fun for children who like large vehicles. It is loud- make sure you bring ear protection. The show at the Roger's Centre is fun- as they also have quad runner races, had remote control cars out on the course and free style moto cross. However the pit party before the show is busy and hard to get near the trucks and the drivers. Suggest it only for older kids.

  • Maple Leaf Monster Jam Tour - EXCELLENT

We had a great time..... TAP tickets were excellent..... Thank You

  • by tinkle on 2012-01-24Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

the show was absolutely amazing. The only thing that I was disappointed in was I was told the pit party was from 11:30 until 1:00. We arrived at 12:00 and they were starting to clear all the trucks out. If a specific time is specified then it should run for that duration of time.

Sunday show was pretty good. Great lineup but a few too many mechanical failures. Pit party was way too crowded. 30 minute lineup to meet any of the drivers and my 4 year old kept getting pushed out of the way. Go back to the old system of charging extra for pit party. Far less crowded then.
