Been waiting my whole life to see Billy live and he, and the band, did not disappoint! What an amazing performance by stellar musicians! Thank you for coming to see your Canadian fans!
Went to dinner and this show with two of my closest friends. Fantastic night on all accounts. The opening act was a bit of a let down, though singer Dave Bickler was a standout, especially at 71. Mr. Big was fantastic in just about every way. Great interaction with the crowd, super tight execution on all songs and just plain fun to see. Does Eric sing like he did at his peak? No, but works well around his limitations and still has the soulfulness that made him such a standout in the first place. As the title says, we were really glad we finally got to see them.
So much energy. Loved their performance and their music. This band is one of my favourites. I am hoping and requesting them to come over play here in Calgary. I would love to see them perform again.
Great show, band was awesome. 1st time seeing them live, the performance and venue was amazing!!!
This was the first time since 1992 that the played here in Toronto. Fun set list. Including a few surprises. This was a Farewell tour. Sadly the sound was muddy especially the vocals. It was hard to make out what Eric said to the audience. And we were not that far back from the stage. Also the venue’s lighting techs were terrible. Totally unresponsive , even from requests from Eric! This show should have been at Massey Hall. The band: As always they are Incredible players. For “ Good Lovin’ “ they all switched instruments, and Billy sang lead vocals. They played the album “ Lean Into It” in its entirety.
I honestly had zero expectations going into this concert and didn't know a lot about Mr Big. I went with my wife who is a huge fan and I know understand why! They put on a great show with a ton of energy. It looked like they could play for hours upon hours together and not get bored. Just appeared like they were having a great time!! And when they came out for their encore it was amazing!!!! They all switched places and belted out Smoke on the Water just as though it was their tune!! Unreal show!!!
