Both Natalie and Donnell are fabulous musicians and were a treat to experience on the same stage, same night. I loved also seeing how each enjoyed listening to the other when they did solo work. We got a bonus treat the evening too when their 7 year old daughter Claire was presented doing some of her own fiddling and dancing... The talent sure carries on in the family!
Loved their energy and ability to connect with the audience. Sharing anecdotes of their early family life and raising their 6 children was very ineteresting. I loved how the 2 pianists and Natalie and Donnell interacted with one another. It appeared effortless.Great fluidity amongst all 4. There was a great variety of styles of music played as well.Loved it when the pianist got up and jigged for us. Donnell wowed the crowd by playing fiddle under his knee and with the strung side of violin turned itowards his chest.Natalie and Donnell compliment each other so beautifully and I could definitely feel their love suppport and admiration for each other. I felt like i was invited to their family reunion and they were playing for their friends and family. The skill level and raw talent made my heart sing and toes tap too.
Unbelievably great performance and way better than what I expected. I've been listening to some of her tunes on ITunes lately and that was one of the reasons I went for the live show. Both Natalie and Donnell completely blew us away with their music. The atmosphere was electric and worth every penny and then some more!

How can you not love this perky blonde, whose feet move as fast as her fiddle. So charming with her personal anecdotes and unrehearsed candour. Only wish that she came twice a year to our fair city.
Brought my two daughters to the concert. Neither had an idea of who she was or her musical genre. They enjoyed the concert. My eldest daughter said this is the type of music on an open mic night in Sydney, when she was there last year.
Natalie MacMaster was full on the entire show! She is a very chatty, down to earth performer who loves to interact with her audience. Within the first few minutes she had most of the people in the audience who were from Cape Breton identified by town or family! I saw her once before, many years ago and was impressed then with her abilities. She can fiddle and dance (some fairly intricate steps) at the same time. Amazing! Her bad was awesome, extremely talented and fun to watch and listen to. If you have not attended one of these performances and you find you are able to, do it!

As usual, Leahy was awesome. Sooo much energy. I loved when the next generation showed their talent!
I was at the concert two years ago and enjoyed it alot. This year I was amazed. I have never seen Natilie play with the Leahy family before. The show was great. The music was great. They are all very talented. They connected with the crowd and deserved the standing ovation. The kids were terrific.
I totally enjoyed the show. I was not looking forward to going as I am not a fan of fiddle playing. Wow! Crazy - I could not stop tapping my feet and clapping my hands. This was an amazing concert. The Leahy family was amazing too! I will definately come back the next time they are here. Fantastic performers - they know how to bring it on!

**** great show at Casino Rama, seats aren't that comfortable though. Great sound system. Natalie appears to be very personable and so talented, she'll entertain you all night with her tap dancing/fiddling. The Leah band was really fun as well. all the siblings were involved and extremely talented, mix of ages from 30 - 75 yrs old in the crowd.
