Comedian Nate Bargatze’s clean-cut and relatable humor is why The Atlantic called him “The Nicest Man in Stand-Up.” The Nashville, Tennessee native and host of the Nateland podcast found his voice in the mid-2000s with regular appearances on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Bargatze was featured on Jimmy Fallon's Clean Cut Comedy Tour 2013, three years after he was named “New York's Funniest Stand-Up” at the New York Comedy Festival. Since then, Bargatze has been selling out arenas on solo tours and in support of comedy icons like Chris Rock. Bargatze’s signature deadpan delivery was showcased in his 2021 Netflix special, The Greatest Average American, which earned a Grammy Award nomination for the coinciding comedy album. His 2023 Amazon Prime special Nate Bargatze: Hello World became the most-streamed original comedy special debut in Prime history — with 2.9 million viewers in its first 28 days — culminating in Bargatze breaking the attendance record for Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. Bargatze hosted “Saturday Night Live” for the second time in fall 2024 and also co-produced a holiday variety special titled “Nate Bargatze’s Nashville Christmas” with Lorne Michaels. In May 2025, Bargatze published his highly-anticipated first book, Big Dumb Eyes: Stories From A Simpler Mind, which became an instant New York Times bestseller. Coming up for 2026, Bargatze will host his new comedy game show, The Greatest Average American, which premieres on February 25 on ABC and Hulu, and will star in the family-friendly comedy film, The Breadwinner, which is scheduled to be released on March 13.

He put on an amazing show, absolutely loved it! My Husband and I had a great time, would definitely see Nate again.
Best comedy show ever! Thanks for the boost in oxytocin! 💕
One of my favorite comedians and he definitely did not disappoint.
Nate Bergatze is hilarious. Could see this ten times over and still laugh. Can’t wait until he comes back to Toronto!
I’m already a fan but his new material was fantastic. The atmosphere of watching with thousands of other fans was so exciting and it was hard not to get carried away. I laughed to the point of tears the whole time and I left with my mascara running and excited to go home and watch another Netflix special. Really hope he returns to Toronto, I’ll be buying floor seats next time!
Great show, my cheeks hurt from laughing! His openers were hand selected and they delivered. Nate put on an amazing show!
Great show but was disappointed he used material from his recent special that we have all seen. Should have had all new material.
My husband and I had a great time at the Toronto show!! I don't think there is a bad seat in the Scotiabank Arena. From the host to the openers to Nate himself, we didn't stop laughing all evening. I'm such a fan and have been telling my friends. Maybe next time Nate comes to Ontario, Canada he can swing down to the Colosseum in Windsor (it's closer to home). I can't wait to see him again!
Nate has such great timing as a comedian. He kept us laughing and had relatable life experience to the audience. Highly reccomend!
Nate and his colleagues put on a great show. Loved that they had a clean and clever routines. I would highly recommend the show. A great evening out.
Absolutely great show. Nate and several openers were all hilarious, had us laughing all evening. Amazing show 5/5
Great time. Nate does not disappoint. The show started in a timely fashion and Nate went on at 8pm, very civilized. I was also impressed with how quickly the admission line moved. We made it on time. Leaving the venue was smooth as well. Amazing given that thousands of people attended this event.
Great show. Great openers. Glad I got the chance to see Nate and his crew in Toronto.
We drove 7 hours to see Nate in Toronto ... have been "following"him on YouTube/streaming his shows for years. I would have driven 70 hours! It was honestly soooooooooooooo good. It didn't hurt that we had great seats ... but he is just so genuinely funny. The opening acts were great too - kudos to all. Trying to figure out if I can squeeze in another show, but wish he'd come to Montreal !!!!
Wow what a night of big laughs and a very sore tummy from laughing so hard. How refreshing to go to a clean comedy show! We need to laugh more:) Nate is the best out there!
Really understand the appeal of comedy clubs now. The size of the venue really interfered with my enjoyment of the show. If I have to look at a monitor to see the comedian, it feels more personal and intimate if I do it from home rather than from a cavernous arena.
Nate puts in a fantastic hilarious show. Highly recommend seeing him if you can. One of the funniest comedians out now.
Nate is one of those rare comedians that can be funny without swearing and staying PG. He's super funny and his delivery and personality are just heartwarming. Saw him at Scotiabank arena in Toronto just Sunday and from the entertainment... openers...Nate and the venue it was a super fun night out !!
What an incredible evening! Nate was so hilarious and I laughed the entire show. The entire show was fantastic. Loved every moment.
Such a good night! Started on time, the openers were good and the venue was full. Nate was awesome. Didn't pause, just one story and joke after another. Highly recommend seeing this show!
