This is by far my favorite band, they totally sucked live, very short performance.I was very disappointed,by far the worst concert I have ever seen and I have seen alot
Wanted more hit songs!!
by kimmcq on 2011-08-01Casino Rama - OrilliaRating: 3 out of 5I haven't seen Nazereth in over 22 years. I was really excited about going, to be disappointed with the length of the show and the number of hit songs they played. When a band as old as Nazereth is they need to play all their hit songs. The HeadPins opened up and were much better and rocked better than Nazereth.
Too many miscues!
by rchoyle on 2011-08-01Casino Rama - OrilliaRating: 2 out of 5I was a huge Nazareth fan in the 80's, I figured, I'll check them out at Rama on July 30th as ther tickets were very moderately priced. For $40.00, I figured, how can you go wrong? Well, you can and if it wasn't for the fact that I just paid $40.00, I'd be upset with the lousy show that was put on. Manny Charlton looked like he should have been singing from a wheelchair he looked so old, he did still hit some high notes, but it was a forgettable show. The guitarist had to have been one of the lousiest guitarists I've ever seen as not only was he mediocre at best with his riffs, he and the rest of the band were out of sync for several moments in the show. Sometimes you have to know when to call it a career and Nazareth should have retired from touring a few years ago. some bands can do it into their 60's and some have to call it quits when they hit 50 or so and Nazareth tops the list there!
Nazareth needs to be ready and guitars tuned.
by Anonymous on 2011-08-01Casino Rama - OrilliaRating: 2 out of 5Nazareth obviously didn't have guitars ready. Singer still has a great voice. Too bad they couldn't listen to themselves out in the audience. Too much treble, drowned out singer. Major shame. I have been waiting forever to see. Very disappointed
downtown
by downtownbrown11 on 2011-07-27Edmonton Event Centre - EdmontonRating: 3 out of 53 lead bands two okay and one was crap. Nazareth most good except a couple songs were right outside the concert. I and everyone rocked Jimmy still great on guitar, Pete still great on Bass and they still have the great pipes for singin.
Nazareth
by softiee on 2011-07-27Edmonton Event Centre - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5Did not disappoint !! played all the favorites and some new !
Nazareth made other bands sound great
by Sherby on 2011-07-26Edmonton Event Centre - EdmontonRating: 3 out of 54 bands in total and all rocked but Nazareth. They were not tight and could have been much better. Overall good party but depressing if you're going to see Nazareth.

Great perfomance! the 3 back up bands were really good too.Good venue
Nazareth was great, however...........
by Rockdon on 2011-07-24Edmonton Event Centre - EdmontonRating: 3 out of 5Big fan of Nazareth and when they finally took the stage they did not disappoint. Their set ended at about 1:30 am which was not expected. Did not know there were 4 bands, so waited quite a while for the actual band I bought the tickets to see. As for the venue, was alright but drinks were high priced.
Guys R Rockin' !!!
by hchrzan on 2011-07-24Edmonton Event Centre - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5It was AMAZING I really would like to see Them at Rexall in Edmonton next year.
Always a great show - Nazareth
by Rrossss on 2011-07-16Red Robinson Show Theatre - CoquitlamRating: 5 out of 5I loved the show and have been to the last 3 without dissapointment. The crowd was great as was the show. Good choice of old and newer music. I would definately go to the next show - if you enjoy older classic rock I recommend you see Nazareth.
GOOD AS ALWAYS THIRD TIME
by KANUCKFAN on 2011-07-16Red Robinson Show Theatre - CoquitlamRating: 4 out of 5THIRD TIME AND ALWAYS A GOOD EVENING AT THE RED ROBINSON
Nazareth SUCKED!!!!!
by Camelot on 2011-07-16Red Robinson Show Theatre - CoquitlamRating: 1 out of 5This concert sucked. The sound was terrible, they did very few of their hits, the drum kit broke and there was a 15 minute break while they fixed that, no encore. They just got the crowd going with "This Flight Tonight" and they walked off the stage, NO encore. The sound set up was so terrible that Dan McCafferty's voice had an echo - that got louder and worse the further he moved from his designated spot. The sound was so tinny it irritated my teeth to the point where I am going to the dentist. Time to pack it in and retire. One star rating is being generous.
Love Hurts but not as much as Nazareth
by joseph12 on 2011-07-16Red Robinson Show Theatre - CoquitlamRating: 1 out of 5Nazareth makes NOISE which bears no relationship to the CD versions of Love Hurts or This Flight Tonight. They seriously need a tour producer. By comparison the next night of Steve Miller makes music!
New stuff is awesome...!
by Cameron93 on 2011-07-16Red Robinson Show Theatre - CoquitlamRating: 5 out of 5Best new stuff I've heard from a classic rock band in years... McCafferty's vocal range is incredible for a guy who's 64 and been beltin' out tunes for over 40 years... check out the ballad "Butterfly" on new album... "When Jesus Comes to Save the World Again"... could be ranked right up there with one of the best-ever Naz songs... absolutely spine tingling!! Great sound... excellent Kurt Cobaine / Satriani type moments from lead guitarist... solid bass & drums... good interaction with the crowd... a real fun show :)
Nazareth was awesome, Venu sucked!
by MissyMayhem on 2011-07-11Deerfoot Inn & Casino - CalgaryRating: 3 out of 5Nazareth sounded great and had great stage presence. They played a great mix of their classic songs and some new ones. The actual Venu was HORRIBLE! There was barely enough aisle way to get to our seats. The seats were packed in so tight you could barely move. Very uncomfortable! I kept thinking if there was some sort of emergency it would be very difficult to get out safely. Not impressed! I know the casino wants to make money but that's a little bit ridiculous. What about a dance floor for people who wanted to dance? Nazareth rocked the house - the house sucked! I would give Nazareth 5 Stars, I would give the Deerfoot Casino 1 star. I would recommend that my friends go see Nazareth, but I would recommend they choose a different Venu.
Narareth
by Daleian on 2011-07-11Deerfoot Inn & Casino - CalgaryRating: 4 out of 5They really put their heart into the music they played.
- by Anonymous on 2010-07-18Deerfoot Inn & Casino - CalgaryRating: 4 out of 5
nazareth is getting too old for concerts, but they did a good show. the lead singer was showing signs of having issues with breathing, sore throat ect. but we new they were older now and to expect it. they still can sing! The headpins were awesome though- they should have been the main group to play. It was good we were early though to get a reserved seat before opening which was by coincidence though... so we would have been disappointed for getting there closer to opening and get horrible seats. Some drunks should have been removed though as they caused some concerns though.
Nazareth does not disapoint !
by knucklehead on 2010-07-18Deerfoot Inn & Casino - CalgaryRating: 4 out of 5Many years have passed since the release dates of their respective albums, but for a night out of 1970,s and early 80's RocknRoll, these guys gave us a great night out. Opening with Telegram to Miss Misery..Sunshine..Bad Bad Boy...My White bycycle...Razamanaz.. .crisp clean sound, a little more delay and reverb for Danny boys voice to keep it together and The Naz...Of Course Manny is missing and RIP Darrel Sweet.. but the guys put on a loud and fun show...Cheers Ryan in Calgary
