About

Despite a 20-year history filled with accolades, GRAMMY-nominated, multi-platinum band NEEDTOBREATHE approached their latest studio album with a renewed mindset - a band still feeling they have something to prove. Over the years, they’ve carved out a distinctive space across multiple genres, blending modern rock, purpose-driven soul, and pop appeal into a rare and impressive track record. With five Number One albums spanning the Billboard Rock, Alternative, and other charts, over three billion career streams, and multi-platinum hits like “Brother”, “Who Am I,” and “Let’s Stay Home Tonight,” NEEDTOBREATHE has captivated audiences worldwide. Their music reflects two decades of masterful songwriting and musicianship, exploring life’s profound emotions and experiences. Working with GRAMMY Award-winning producer Dave Cobb, the band’s latest offering “Momma Loves Me” featuring The Red Clay Strays, continues this journey, diving into themes of personal struggle, redemption and resilience.

  • Amazing Night!

    by Zoey.902 on 2024-10-21MTELUS - MontrealRating: 5 out of 5

Drove from Nova Scotia to see Needtobreathe. They put on an amazing show. High energy & very intimate. Bear came down into the audience & we got to see him up close! There's not a bad seat in the house. We were close to the stage & it sounded great. Staff were very friendly, bathrooms were clean. Lots of space. Will definitely be coming back.

Such an amazing band. The music was fantastic and their voices were unreal. I can’t wait for them to come back to Ottawa for another great night!

  • Awesome

by Mikeket on 2024-10-20Bronson Centre - OttawaRating: 5 out of 5

NTB puts on an awesome powerful show. You know more songs than you realize and if you don't a great many are inspiring the first time you hear them. Saw them at Bronson Place, a shockingly small venue (900 capacity) for such a great band. Don't know why but I'm happy to enjoy it.

  • Unbelievable!!!

by Johnny on 2024-10-18Burton Cummings Theatre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

I bought the tickets for NEEDTOBREATHE as a gift for my wife and I admittedly didn’t know much of their music as she is the fan. But this show was incredible!!! One of the best concerts I have been to in years! The venue surely helps set the atmosphere but these guys were incredible and I’ve been listening to their catalogue ever since that night. When they return to Winnipeg we will definitely be back!

  • Excellent experience

by Adam on 2024-10-17Burton Cummings Theatre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

These guys are absolutely awesome to hear live - totally worth it! Thoroughly enjoyed the concert.

  • Still one of the best Live shows

by Papa Neuf on 2024-10-17Burton Cummings Theatre - WinnipegRating: 4 out of 5

3rd time we've seen NTB in Wpg. Always enjoy how amazing they are.

  • Too old for all of those lights!

by Grammy on 2024-10-17Burton Cummings Theatre - WinnipegRating: 3 out of 5

We enjoyed the last half of the show but the first half, I really felt like we were just enduring it. I couldn’t understand the words because it was so loud and distorted. But the last half was perfect! Although the lights were still hard to deal with…loved the music, though.

  • Best concert!!

by Alana on 2024-10-17Burton Cummings Theatre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

We sat towards the back of section B, and the sound was the best we’ve ever heard at the Burton Cummings! Needtobreathe was incredible as always, this was my 4th time seeing them live and I think this was their best show yet!

  • Awesome show

    by Dunn01 on 2024-10-17Burton Cummings Theatre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

Quality show as usual, this band knows how to perform and gets the crowd moving.

  • An absolute vibe!!

    by Joeyboy06 on 2024-10-17Burton Cummings Theatre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

I had such a good time, the performance was perfect and the talent they have is beyond most, they show detail and dedication in all parts of their show.

  • Great concert

by Fan27 on 2024-10-15Grey Eagle Event Centre - CalgaryRating: 4 out of 5

Band was great! Venue was not the best, there were a few times that the room smelled of exhaust then would go away after a bit and then return.

  • Awesome

by Karl on 2024-10-15Grey Eagle Event Centre - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

As always Need to Breathe gives their all. Fantastic concert.

  • Great performance and acoustics

by Kirsty on 2024-10-15Grey Eagle Event Centre - CalgaryRating: 4 out of 5

The band was great! The acoustics in the event venue are really good. Everything about the performance was wonderful. The only complaint is the fact that the grey eagle event centre opens up to the smoking section of the casino. The foyer and auditorium had a thick fog of smoke, even the employees seemed bothered by it.

  • Fantastic concert

by KZ on 2024-10-14Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

The band is very tight, song selection varied and interesting, band members were very personal and involved. Great interaction with and from the audience. The concert was great!

  • Too Loud for the Venue

by Allan on 2024-10-14Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 3 out of 5

Band was nice. Venue was great however the band was too loud for the venue. The acoustics at the Jublilee Auditorium are so good that loud just merges the sounds. The richness of their music was lost.

  • Amazing

by Cor on 2024-10-14Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

Need to Breathe is incredible and gives a great in person concert

  • Needtobreathe = cloud 9

by Lance on 2024-10-14Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

Needtobreathe was absolutely unreal!!! I’ve been following this band and loving their music since Daylight, but this was my first time seeing them live, and I’ll be coming back every time they’re in AB in the future. What a show these guys put on. To say my wife and I had an amazing time would be an understatement. It was a loud rock n roll concert and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Superb music and sound and they played so many of their great ones (they have too many to play them all). The best live show I’ve ever been to, bar none. I love Needtobreathe! Take me back to Friday night!!

  • Talented Band

by Jojo on 2024-10-14Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 3 out of 5

Love this band but I found the concert way too loud , to the point where I could barely make out the words of the songs.
