NEEDTOBREATHE have spent over two decades developing a unique sound that blends elements of rock, country and Christian music. The South Carolina band was formed in 1998 by brothers Bear and Bo Rinehart. They expanded the outfit into a quartet and released a string of independent projects before debuting their first major label effort, Daylight, in 2006. NEEDTOBREATHE’s sophomore album The Heat (2007) marked the group’s first placement on the Billboard 200 and earned the group their first No. 1 on the Christian Airplay chart with the single, “Washed by the Water.” Their 2009 follow-up The Outsiders elevated the band, reaching gold certification from the RIAA, while 2011’s The Reckoning marked more crossover success after notching their first No. 1 on the Top Rock Albums chart. With 2014’s Rivers in the Wasteland, NEEDTOBREATHE broke into the Hot 100 thanks to the Gavin DeGraw collaborative song “Brother.” The single “Multiplied” led to the band’s first Grammy nomination for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song. NEEDTOBREATHE reached a career peak at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with 2016’s Hard Love. In 2020, the group announced the departure of Bo Rinehart and have since released three studio albums as a quintet with Bear, Seth Bolt, Josh Lovelace, Randall Harris and Tyler Burkum.

Awesome Band! Excellent acoustic experience in great venue!
This band is awesome, so much emotion and talent. Loved it!
Bought tickets in the second row. When we showed up to the concert, they had removed the first row of seats. Therefor row two was technically row one. Well of course the front row folk wanted what they paid for, so we were bumped back. Sure enough those seats were taken by the third row folk. The staff reseated us 4 different times before we finally ended up in seats which did not reflect what we paid for...
Simply amazing! Big emotions to attend first concert post pandemic listening to such fantastic voices and music. Loved it so much. We missed the song Banks and totally heartbroken by our late arrival. Please come back to Vancouver, BC!!!
Amazing musicians putting on a fab show. An acoustic show was a perfect way to spotlight how great they are. Great opener with Patrick Droney as well. Thanks NEEDTOBREATHE! Come back soon.
The Burton Cummings Theatre proved, once again, that it is a spectacular venue for concerts. Intimate and personal, as well as acoustically remarkable. The evening was marred by the activities of the audience members in the loge to our right (as we faced the stage). Because the loges are so visible to the rest of the audience, the patron's party activities (quite possibly drunkenness) drew audience attention away from the performers. Their activities may have been a distraction to the performers as well. Please instruct the ushers to monitor these locations and keep these activities and movements to a respectable minimum.
Love this band. Just as good if not better live. True musicians.
This was by far the best Thursday night I have ever had in a very long time. NeedToBreathe was was absolutely phenomenal and I appreciate everything they do for foster children.
Needtobreath never disappoints. It was an incredible and amazing concert
Soooo, this group is the most underrated band i've ever had the absolute pleasure of listening to! Talent, character, passion and full of life! Incredible sound, wonderful harmonies... deep and impactful lyrics! Everything about the experience was amazing! Their music will brighten your day, fill your spirit, and improve your life! Can't say enough about Needtobreathe!
If you have not had the chance to see this band live you are doing yourself a disservice. Amazing band phenomenal talents and great music to boot.
We never miss the opportunity to see NeedToBreathe, who remains among our favorite writers and musicians. We know the band has changed and we are pleased to see their unity remains. Our gratitude!
Had an absolute blast. I was so up close and personal being at a smaller venue. And a wonderful experience and would go to see them again in a heartbeat one of the best founders I’ve ever seen live
This concert was beyond what I could have imagined. Amazing sound, amazing voices, amazing experience. I can' say enough good things about the concert. 10/10!
They are a amazing band, sound just as good live as the record. And great crowd interaction
Need to Breathes acoustic tour is awesome. I’ve been twice and the vocal arrangements and talent is unmatched. Awesome experience. 10/10 would recommend.
Way to go guys. What an awesome concert. Love the song choices. Not just Into the Mystery but many of the other favorites as well. What a special time. So glad to be able to see them in person again. Just wish there had been time for the encore.
First concert in almost 3 years. I had no expectations going in as it was an acoustic tour and I enjoy concerts with big production. They blew me away right from the start. Extremely talented musicians and vocalists. Felt like we were in Nashville.
This band was totally amazing. They are very talented both musically and in their ability to connect with their audience. They were very appreciative of those who took time and paid to come out and see them and their appreciation was very easily felt in how they performed. Their message within the music and their words between songs was very inspirational and I left there feeling this band not only makes incredible music, but takes their gift and uses it to help make others lives better. They are a credit to their industry and to what human beings should be like.
This band is so underrated! So much talent and charisma. I enjoyed the variety of instruments used, the perfect harmony of voices and the rhythm making me want to dance. A bit of bluegrass, rock and blues. I had a fantastic evening and would love to see this band live again.
