    So worth my time!

by Fidget55 on 2011-09-30Credit Union Centre - Saskatoon

I love the opportunity to see bands in all phases of popularity travelling together to do a single show - it's a great way to learn about up-and-coming artists. The length of each artist was good (though could have used a full show of TFK!) for how many bands were represented. I loved the comfortable feel of having a smaller audience. All over, very impressed.

    Newsboys were amazing!

by 40yroldnewsboysfan on 2011-09-28Edmonton EXPO Centre - Edmonton

Maplenoise concert was so amazing! There was a nice variety of genres of music and numerous songs I recognized from listening to SHINE fm. It was also wonderful that World Vision was highlighted and some of the groups were giving away a free cd when you sponsored a child. The best part of the show was the NEWSBOYS! Awesome light show and staging. They played all my favorites. At the end of the concert the Newsboys even did an autograph session! WOW! I will definately see them again in concert!

Maplenoise 2011 - An amazing night

by DocOk on 2011-09-26Edmonton EXPO Centre - Edmonton

How can you go wrong with five hours of music by so many great bands. The diversity of the groups made it a win/win for all who went, and the Newsboys did not disappoint.

My kids 1st concert and it was awesome!

by cookiegirl74 on 2011-09-25Edmonton EXPO Centre - Edmonton

This my kids' 1st concert and my husband's 1st Christian concert. We all really enjoyed it. We bought VIP tickes and that was worth it, however we missed 2 or 3 bands due to the bands signing uostaiers were late. That was our only disappointment. What we did see was great. Nice to see a variety of bands. We will go back next year!

    Amazing night!!

by Cloudwalker on 2011-09-24Credit Union Centre - Saskatoon

my daughter and I got VIP tickets, and the experience was lovely. I would've liked if the VIP was a little more organized though, since some of us had to drive a long while to arrive there and would've liked a pit stop before going downstairs for the meet-and-greet. the meet-and-greet was good, but long and we were tired by the time we had finished getting autographs from Newsboys. the bands were good, but it would've been better if TFK and Manafest had gotten a little more time to perform, especially TFK. sound and seats were good, since we were right up front. the rest of the bands we heard after the meet-and-greet and meandering through the merch tables were alright as well. all-in-all the night was good. :)

    Awesome

by Clynt on 2011-09-24Credit Union Centre - Saskatoon

The opening performers were all great, but the crowd started off small and grew into the night. I think there would have been more energy earlier on if more people arrived early. I discovered some great bands and got introduced to some great music. Get up front and go crazy. Manic Drive really stood out. Doing the robot while playing guitar was impressive. TFK was the reason I attended in the first place. I wish they had more songs, but in retrospect I wish all the bands had longer sets. Newsboys put on a great performance.

    Newsboys were great!

by Abaldron on 2010-05-11Credit Union Centre - Saskatoon

The warmup bands were difficult to hear/understand. I was in the front row and while the view was great, the sound was less than desirable. Newsboys were better. Given the fact that I was VIP in the front and then had other people crowd in front of us was disappointing. Great concert though!

    Excellent concert!

by Oxfamer on 2010-04-28Bismarck Civic Center - Bismarck

I previously saw Newsboys at a youth conference in Edmonton and with the change of Michael Tait as lead singer, I think Newsboys as a live act is even better. Tait is a great lead singer who gets the crowd really involved with the music. It also helped that I was on the ground and the atmosphere was much better and we could actually see the band members up close. I had no clue how hilarious Duncan is when he drums. Loved the concert. Nice mix of new and old songs. Great use of worship songs in the middle. Highly recommend the concert! It was too bad that the guys from Audio Adrenaline ended up not opening as I was really looking forward to them. Bread of Stone was alright - a lot more rock than Newsboys.

    New Newsboys a Tait . . . I mean a Treat

by SaskatcheOne on 2010-04-26Credit Union Centre - Saskatoon

The voice of Michael Tait carried the great songs of the Newsboys very well. His years of experience and personal charisma were effective in drawing out the crowd and getting everybody rocking. It was a treat to hear some of the old dc Talk classics and the crowd really appreciated that. I think the Newsboys made a good move by calling Michael Tait to be their frontman. I expect they will continue to have good success. It is obvious that the 'boys are getting on in years and maybe shouldn't be trying to run around like they're still 22. Their excellent musicianship also demonstrated their many years. That drummer is a true rockstar!

    Not the greatest

by DukeMachine on 2010-04-26MTS Centre - Winnipeg

This concert left a ton to be desire, the opening bands were lousy nobodies that played somewhere around 3 songs each. What really annoyed me, was that instead of actual pyrotechnics, they had pictures of fire of screens in the backround, which came off as a really lame effort to me.

    Newsboys rocked!

by trendy on 2010-04-25MTS Centre - Winnipeg

I have to admit that I was a little bit nervous that Newsboys would not be Newboys with Michael Tait as the lead singer...boy was I wrong. Michael Tait is the perfect fit for the Newsboys. The concert was unforgettable, with a mix of "old Newsboys",DC Talk and the awesome new stuff! We loved the concert and can't wait for the ablum to come out!!!

What an incredible concert. Super talented musicians who are experts in crowd pleasing. The energy was unreal. Please bring more Christian acts like this! It was the best concert of the year at CUC.

The VIP access and concert was great! During the VIP Access - the meet and greet session was great and the band were very friendly and kind to their guests. The band was really great and the Opening Acts were fantastics! There was no shortage of fun and everyone was able to get some positive message that encourages you to make a positive difference in the lives of others!

    Newsboys had exceeded my expectations!

by CocoLatte on 2010-04-24Evangel Pentacostal Assembly - Edmonton

Newsboys has blown me away! I have seen them preform live before and knew they were good but......WOW. Talented and lively. The backdrop of lights was spectacular! The main singer sings powerfully and is entertaining. This is one show I would recommend you do not miss! If they were playing close by again in Canada, I would drive to see them again.
