About

Noah Kahan has infused the experiences from his humble New England upbringing with the complexities of modern times to completely redefine folk music for a new generation. After signing to Republic Records in 2016, the Strafford, Vermont native immediately connected with audiences through his 2017 debut single “Young Blood.” By the end of the year he had his first internationally-charting hit with “Hurt Somebody.” A duet version of the latter with Julia Michaels led Kahan’s 2019 debut album Busyhead, and his first solo North American headlining tour followed that fall. Kahan remained active through the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, releasing the Cape Elizabeth EP in 2020 and his second full-length effort I Was / I Am in 2021. His third album, Stick Season, was written in direct response to the extended global period of isolation and marked a new creative and commercial peak for Kahan. It reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and received gold certification while the title track was certified platinum. In 2023, Kahan revisited Stick Season with the expanded We'll All Be Here Forever edition, featuring the Post Malone collaboration “Dial Drunk,” which became Kahan’s first single to chart on the Billboard Hot 100.

    Noah Kahan Concert

by Leanne on 2021-12-15Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

It was incredible! The music, and his voice were amazing! My husband had no idea who he was and is a complete fan now and was downloading his music the next day. I want to go again as soon as possible!

    Amazing!!

    by E. M. on 2021-12-15

This was an amazing concert. I have seen Noah Kahan twice now and he has not disappointed either time! He played music from all of his albums and new stuff we haven’t heard yet!! He is quite the performer alongside everyone else on stage. Everyone was singing along, he had us laughing and thoroughly enjoying ourselves. He had lost his voice but was still incredible. Maybe even more so than on his album. Plus the Commodore is always good. It’s nice and intimate with a bar everywhere you look and the staff I encountered were awesome.

I am a big Noah Kahan fan, and he really delivered during his show. I loved the Commodore in Vancouver as a venue, but Noah's voice is also incredible which made the show great. I would 100% pay to go and see him again on his next tour.

    Great show

by Dominique on 2019-10-29Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

Noah gave an amazing performance. His vocals were on point, just the right amount of enthusiasm as well. His moments of just talking and joking around with the audience made him relatable and all the more charming.
