    LEGENDARY

by vespaluv on 2011-11-28Massey Hall - Toronto

Noel Gallagher is one of the greatest songwriters and performers of all time. He was absolutely FANTASTIC to watch ... so much so that I went to THREE shows and have a fourth coming up in the spring. Can't get enough Gallagher ..

    Noel For Christmas

by bayoubunny66 on 2011-11-25Orpheum Theatre - New York

Noel clearly showed which brother was up front when the chops were being passed out! I think the High Flying Birds performed the Oasis-heavy set better than Oasis would have. The venue was perfect, compared to the sports stadia that huge bands get stuck in, and the vibe was terrific. Go Noel!

    Not more than OK

by livialinhares on 2011-11-11Massey Hall - Toronto

The concert was good itself - despite moody Noel Gallagher rushing and trying to get it over with. The venue wasn't that good - from some seats you could barely see the stage, so be careful when buying tickets there, DON'T BUY on the third floor. But, after all, it's always Noel Gallagher and his incredible voice. I would recommend it, but not entirely happy about it.

Noel Gallagher clearly showed that he can do it on his own and far surpass Beady Eye. Noel is AMAZING!!!

    Noel Gallagher - Massey Hall

by Fane on 2011-11-10Massey Hall - Toronto

Noel and the band were great! Really enjoyed the new music. He could have spoke a bit more but in the end it"s all about the music.

    Noel raises the roof!

    by music4life on 2011-11-09Massey Hall - Toronto

I was in the first balcony just off to the right (facing the stage) and the sound was really solid all through the night. Noel's voice was a bit hard to hear at times but he generally is a softer singer. Thought overall the show was great. I was fortunate enough to have heard the new album already so I could really appreciate how great the new songs were sounding live. Some of the songs like 'Stranded on the Wrong Beach' and 'I Wanna Live In a Dream In my Record Machine' had so much more energy than they do on the album since the guitars were turned up and there were no strings...which I thought did them justice. Great to hear some familiar Oasis songs as well. He really did a great job adding some variety to the arrangements of Talk Tonight (drums added, more uptempo). Other selections like Mucky Fingers, Little By Little, Wonderwall were really great as well.

    Noel, the better Gallagher

by roryvalentine on 2011-11-09Massey Hall - Toronto

I've been to a lot of concerts, but. I can't remember one where everyone was singing along with that much high-spirited emotion. The venue was nice and small which made everyone get along so well. Everyone was there for Noel and you could hear that when everyone was screaming for an encore. Spine tingles were definitely flowing trough me for most of the concert.. I just wish I saw him again on the second night as well... It would have been more than worth it.

I saw Liam with Beady Eye on my bday in June, it was a good show. But Noel's show this past Monday was Fan-friggin-tastic!! Love both the Gallagher boys .. But Noel takes the cake!! Just an awesome show ;)

HFB didn't soar to the heights of Oasis

by stoneycanuk on 2011-11-09Massey Hall - Toronto

Venue: Great, intimate venue Opening Act: Excellent (sounded a bit like Elbow) Lighting: OK Sound: Drums tended to over power everything else Noel: The old Oasis stuff was great as was the acoustic numbers. New material needed better sound clarity. It was an overall flat muffled sound rather than a crisp clear sound that you associate with Oasis. Musicians: Noel was his usual arrogant self, keyboard player was good, drummer powerful. Bass and lead guitarist were both low profile. Great support band.

    He doesn't need Liam

by ArsenalFan on 2011-11-09Massey Hall - Toronto

A remarkable performance from a first rate entertainer. Not hard to see who the real brains was behind Oasis's success. It's Oasis, but better and without the drama.... Good on ya' Noel!
