First playoff game on a Friday night. Home team won and it was well played for a Junior game. Crowd about 70% of capacity enthusiastic. Left with 30 seconds to go. Underground parking had one of two exits closed due to a malfunctioning gate. Mass confusion and no communication. Took 45 minutes to get out.
We sat in the AA row of section 17. Our view was completely blocked by the people in the accessible seating in front of us. We couldn't see half the ice! The first row of section 17 should not be sold at all - no point in buying tickets if you can't see the game. We bailed after half a period and moved to section 14. Much better view; had a great time.
Lots of parking, no crazy rush to get out, and parking is free. Beautiful arena for a hockey game. Clean and great views from anywhere. Wish that Ottawa had a great stadium like this that was so easily accessible and no hassles for parking.
I took my kids to see the Ottawa 67s game and it was a great experience for all of us. The tickets are very reasonably priced and the hockey is top quality as well as the services. I would highly recommend to anyone with or without family to attend a game.
The games were fantastic box seats awesome n all around very nice arena n services were tops congrats to the 67s n Olympics moving on to 2sd round n also a huge congrats to the Gatineau for their awesome desing of their new arena .Hopefully 67s new arena will be just as 👍 👌
Saw the 67’s play in a different rink. My father in law and I had a great time. The sound was great and the seats were comfortable. Enjoyed the game and food was ok. A little time to get out of the parking but that is usually normal everywhere.
The Slush Puppie centre is a great venue. No complaints. I went to the game on sunday and parked in the 4 story parking garage next to the centre. After the game was over, the cars on the 3rd level (where I was) and above were in complete grid-lock for over 30-minutes. Complete grid-lock, not one car moved. I didn't think the parking could be worse than the CTC venue, but I was wrong. My guess at the issue, was that since the parking was free, there were no parking attendants directing traffic. Finally, someone went down and started to direct, perhaps that's why we started moving. I think it was great that the parking was free, however, I would gladly pay for parking to avoid this situation in the future. Thanks!
I brought my daughter and grandson, we had a great time. The ticket, guest service and concession staff were all top notch. The game was exciting and fun to watch! We will be back!!!!!!
All seats great visibility. Excellent parking facilities. Very comfortable seats and better legroom
Event was awesome even from the slush puppy center! Beautiful arena and wonderful turnout for being a Thursday evening game. Parking should be free at all sporting centres like this one. 10/10 would go again! GO 67'S GO
The experience was okay in a very old, tired building that shakes constantly. Why are the first few games of the 67s playoffs in Hull? This is absolutely beyond ridiculous. This sends a very strong message that Curling is more important than the 67s hockey team who have played in the Lansdowne rink since the team's inception. What kind of team owner would agree to this? You have sent the message that the 67s are not important and that other events are much more important. Why now would fans continue to support the team, given that ownership has agreed to this arrangement. You have created a perfect break in the routine from going to Lansdowne to Hull in which you will lose many many fans. This has to be one of the most unsound Business decisions for the 67s ever to be made. WOW!
Took my kids for the game. Great atmosphere and quality hockey. We had a great time
We had fun at the game and the 67 performed very well. The only issue i had was how close the seats were with those in front. My knees were on the seat in front.
It was a great experience, I love watching the young kids play for the 67s and then follow the ones who go on to the NHL, and there are quite a few of them - Cody Ceci, Tyler Tuffoli, Peter Mrazek, etc. The games are always good, even when we lose. Even better when you get the tickets from Costco and get the discount. I just wish that OC Transport ran an event bus, but I guess there aren’t enough people to make it worth their while.
The 67s are a very entertaining team, fast and they know how to score goals. I got the Costco special tickets which was 2 tickets for $40 in the lower arena. A great deal!
Great hockey and amazing atmosphere, took my young lad and we had an absolutely fantastic time. I would highly recommend attending an Ottawa 67s game!
It was my gran daughters first hockey game and she had the best day ever. Thanks for making this day so special, but now in order for us to take her back she wants the face painting, super heroes, etc.. 😂😂
I have been going to 67s games since about 1967. Always a nice little Friday night diversion. Ticketmaster software worked well. I would do it all again if I can find a time.
Both teams were well matched...even according to the scoreboard shots on goal. Our team had an epic game against the London Knights who also played well. Good hockey (except for the goon behaviour of No. 24 on the Knights). It was just the luck of the draw that got London their win in second overtime. But an exciting game and the 2 goalies were amazing! NHL material for sure. I love the spirit of the 67s players...they want to win and they try very hard. They are all well spoken and play fair!
