PAM TILLIS IN CONCERT:
Grammy-winning country singer-songwriter Pam Tillis is Nashville born and bred, and her heritage is on full display at her live shows. Tillis boasts an impressive pedigree – her father is famed country singer Mel Tillis, and her boot-stomping performances, exuding plenty of downhome pride and tradition, are the next best thing to a trip to Music City. Taking the stage with an acoustic guitar, Tillis wrings every last drop of emotion from finely crafted cuts like "Maybe It Was Memphis" and "Shake the Sugar Tree." Meanwhile her band whips up a high-energy mix of slide guitar, violin, bass, and drums that perfectly complements her relaxed vocals and unhurried delivery. It's a no-frills country party any time Pam Tillis performs, and ticket buyers are never disappointed by her arresting voice and feel-good stage presence.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Growing up the daughter of a country star, Pam Tillis was immersed in the Nashville music scene from the get-go. She made her singing debut at the Grand Ole Opry at age 8, and by her teens she was writing songs and playing the piano and guitar. She cut her teeth in the early '70s penning tunes for artists like Gloria Gaynor and Chaka Khan, and in 1981 she signed to Warner Bros. Records. Her 1983 debut album didn't make much of an impact, but she found chart success mid-decade with a string of non-album singles including "Those Memories of You" and "There Goes My Love." She signed to Arista Nashville in 1989, kicking off a successful period that included the Top 10 albums Put Yourself in My Place (1991) and Sweetheart's Dance (1994), the latter of which contained her first No. 1 single "Mi Vida Loca (My Crazy Life)." Since then she's remained prolific, touring extensively and impressing fans with albums like 2013's Dos Divas, a celebrated collection of duets recorded with Lorrie Morgan.

It was very enjoyable and the music was great. The crowd was right into the performance.
Lorrie and Pam, both are still in their prime. Amazing talents, I hope they continue to tour for years to come.
I wish they had a better stock of merchandise. Other than that was a great show.
A great performance from start to finish. A full house enjoyed real country tunes, a polished performance, good humour and the entertainment was beyond great. Pam Tillis still has it and Energy if a 20 year old.
Great experience. Just too short for the price. And Lorrie Morgan could have done without the gum chewing throughout the show.
Listening to this icons sing her songs from the 90's brought back memories! You didn't have to struggle to understand the lyrics. Sounded just as good as I hoped. Not disappointed at all!!
It was great. A little hard to find a parking space even though we came an hour and a half early. Soundd was a little too loud and hard to understand on the right side facing the stage. Had noticed that before. Better sound to the left facing the stage. All in all an excellent concert
A full 90 minutes of these two stars The band also very talented with the key board and fiddle player top notch.
Jam packed with some old, some newer with a few laughs in between! Absolutely fantastic entertainment for what we paid. Pam and Lorrie sounded spot on and the band was terrific. You won't regret going, I'd go again in a heartbeat!
