if you love funk rock folk music, you'll love parsonsfield - they sound a little avett brothers-ish. the energy onstage is electric and their interaction with the crowd is pure delight. not a bad song in the set list, and i am already looking forward to seeing them again. after taking in every one of their shows at the festival, it's plain to see that winnipeg winters do nothing to diminish their performance. amazing!!

We thoroughly enjoyed seeing Parsonsfield in concert. Their live show is amazing! Beautiful harmonies, great songs, fantastic musicianship, some unique instruments all put together made for an unforgettable show. Roots, folk, rock all in one band. If they come anywhere near you do not hesitate to see them. You'll be blown away by their show.

if you love the avett brothers - or just love upbeat funky folk rock music - this is the band for you! their set list was a perfect combo of old and new, and the way they engage and capture the attention of the crowd is something to behold. they were favourites at folk fest last summer, and their energy and spirit wasn't dampened in the least by winnipeg's winter temps. these guys are not capable of singing a "bad" song. perfect evening.
