    LATE!

by Anonymous on 2010-08-09Air Canada Centre - Toronto

Really annoying that the show finally got under way almost one hour after the start time printed on my ticket! And without so much as a word of apology! I guess he made up for it with the 2+hours of entertainment! Loved all the Beatles stuff but would have liked more Wings. Huge cheer to the Paris Port Dover pipe band. They were brilliant and such a joy to see them busting with pride.

I wish I could give a 10 Star rating. This man never ages. He's as spry now as he was in his 20's.

    Amazing!

by Will on 2010-08-09Air Canada Centre - Toronto

This show was everything you would hope it to be and more. Hit's from the Beatles and Wings, as well as some of his Solo stuff. Some notables were Jet, Mrs. Vanderbilt, Band on the Run, Blackbird, Yesterday, All my loving, and i love her, back in the USSR, hey Jude, A day in the life, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, and many many more. Definetly the best concert on my list, and I've seen plenty. He interacted with the audience, told stories, and played continuously for over 2 hours before returning to play a 30 min encore. Fantastic!

It was the most amazing concert I have ever attended. He was on stage for 3 hours, with a band, without a band. He looks so classy and performed the same!

    MACCA.........IS!!!!!!!

by MysteriousMrT on 2010-08-09Air Canada Centre - Toronto

From the moment MACCA came on stage, the energy that was around grew 10 fold. One can still feel the magic that started the mania so long ago. From the very first song, I knew that this was an event that will be in my memory for a very long time and I wanted to immerse myself in every note that was played. The crowd was there to see the master of song perform a fraction of his reportoire, I could have set up camp right there where I was sitting and listen endlessly till all his songs were exhausted. But I have one life time and I would need several cause I would want to hear them at least twice. MACCA and his band did not let the energy drop, it got momentum with every song. The fun amongst them was evident, laughing, smiling, little antidotes during the performance made moments of time feel like you were apart of his history. Sharing little stories of Aunt Edie to Jimi Hendirx has made it wonderfully personal. I feel I know MACCA, I felt like telling my family stories as old friends do. Perhaps the feeling is mutual and personal with his fans. I think it is. The very last song performed by MACCA I hope is not the last song I would hear Sir Paul McCartney do, it is going to be a very sad day when he will let the world know that he is retiring from performing live. It was an such a treat to be in the same room listening to Paul. I have shared an experience with thousands of glowing fans that night and I am sure none were disssappointed. ... LONG LIVE THE BEATLES!!!! LONG LIVE PAUL!!!! Mysterious Mr. T.

Paul Great. Sound Sucked. Late Start a Peeve.

by askjack on 2010-08-09Air Canada Centre - Toronto

So many events/concerts start on time. I thought the days of leaving a crowd waiting 30, 60 minutes or more (1 hour for Sir Paul) after the scheduled start ime were over. Its just disrespectful. Thankfully, I am a huge fan of Paul so I'll sit to hear musical genius. He was outstanding. Mull of Kintyre was somewhat expected but a nice treat - he did it last time I heard him in T.O. as well. But the sound at ACC this concert was just awful. U2, Elton, Lady Gaga, so many others don't have this issue - maybe it was the McCartney set up? So, while the sound and the delayed start were major disappointments, Paul made up for it and it was a great concert.

    Incredible Paul !

by Kring on 2010-08-09Air Canada Centre - Toronto

3 Hours of sheer mastery, Paul McCartney blew my mind, he is truly a legend and I felt very privileged to have experienced the master at work! He never left the stage once, told some wonderful stories about other legends and interracted with the audience constantly. One very classy show.

    A1 Concert

by Anonymous on 2010-08-09Air Canada Centre - Toronto

I can't believe he could rock for so long. Paul just kept on pounding out the hits, lots of Beatles. This man really knows how to engage the crowd to make it a great event.

Sound clarity was awful! I've been to many rock concerts, and this was excessively loud. Although, the volume would have been easily tolerable if the sound was good. It wasn't. The drums/base drowned out almost everything, the guitars buzzed.... I don't know if it was the venue or the show, but this ruined a lot of great songs, and a great voice. Even though a Wings fan, the only time I enjoyed myself was when Paul was playing slower beatles ballads alone on stage....these were rare moments where the sound was clear, and the fans could hear that this guy still has it!

    Sir Paul Delivers

by Blackberri on 2010-08-09Air Canada Centre - Toronto

Paul McCartney and his rocking band played for three hours covering hits from the Beatles, Wings and Fireman to a sold out energetic crowd. Three hours never zoomed by so quickly in my life! It was just one hit after another. Between songs Paul gave some history or interesting anecdote about the song he was about to perform showcasing his laid back, humerous and humble personality. He also paid tribute to John Lennon, George Harrison and the love of his life, Linda.

    OUTSANDING

by MOMSDAUGHTER on 2010-08-09Air Canada Centre - Toronto

My siblings and I actually purchased 2 tickets for my mother's birthday. She went with my Aunt, (her sister) and they both said it was AN EXCELLENT SHOW. They loved it. They were completely impressed with the fact that NO ONE OPENED FOR HIM and he played for over 3 hours pretty well straight. If I could, I would have purchased 2 more tickets for tonight's performance as well and send her again.

by Paulfan on 2010-08-09Air Canada Centre - Toronto

Paul sang all the old favourites from Beatles and Wings, and for 67 he still puts on a better show than most singers half his age. His voice and energy as a great as ever. He was on stage non stop for 3 straight hours, no intermission, no break. He is amazing!!

Paul McCartney is the best ever

    by Neuf216 on 2010-07-27AT & T Park - San Francisco

Sir Paul was #1 on my bucket list and he did not disappoint - 3 hours of hit after hit - no guitar solos, and drum solos - just music and a few stories. You can tell he still enjoys what he does, and he is the BEST!!!
