About

It isn’t often that one concert ticket allows you to witness two groundbreaking artists share the stage. That’s why when Paul Simon and Sting announced that they were embarking on a tour together, excitement for the event was sky high. Not only will the two living legends perform together, but they’ll also treat the crowd to separate solo sets of their classic tunes. Both artists and their immensely talented backing bands are famed for delivering masterful live performances utilizing multi-ethnic instrumentation and world rhythms inspired by music around the globe.  Paul Simon, of course first made his mark as an American songwriting legend as one half of the duo Simon and Garfunkle, yielding timeless classics like “Mrs. Robinson,” “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” “Scarborough Fair” and “Sounds of Silence.” He embarked on a successful solo career and produced the critically acclaimed albums One Trick Pony and Graceland among others, as well as the hits “Slip Slidin’ Away,” “Still Crazy After All these Years” and “50 Ways to Leave Your Lover.” Sting first gained international attention as the lead singer, songwriter, and bass player of ‘80s rock band The Police—a groundbreaking act that produced a string of hit songs, including “Roxanne,” “Every Breath You Take,” “Message In a Bottle,” “Every Little Thing She Does is Magic.” Like Paul Simon, Sting also enjoys a phenomenally successful solo career which has spanned decades, releasing acclaimed albums including Nothing Like the Sun, The Dream of the Blue Turtles, and Ten Summoner’s Tales, and topping the charts with hits like “If You Love Somebody Set Them Free,” “Fields of Gold” and “If I Ever Lose My Faith In You.” Needless to say, demand for Paul Simon and Sting tour tickets is high, as they’ll gain lucky fans access to what is sure to be an unforgettable concert experience.

    warm dynamic duo

by tokolosh on 2014-02-23Rogers Arena - Vancouver

These two incredibly talented musicians shared the stage both singing together and taking individual sets non-stop for just over 2 1/2 hours. Having two bands on stage ensured BIG sound, and the variety of instruments that were played and the talent of the supporting musicians and singer was truly amazing. The production - lights - sound - was also very professional. Just a great show!

Sting & Simon was unforgettable, amazing

by Ohkari on 2014-02-23Rogers Arena - Vancouver

I've always been a fun of Sting (30 years...) and fun of Simon following the songs he sang when I hadn't been born but are classics I never thought they would get together and it was amazing, singing songs together and then taking turns on their own, then a longer concert They sang the best songs, the bands are great and you can see they are truly musicians. They interact with the audience which makes it even better I would go again if I could... Thanks so much!!!

    Sting and Simon Wonderful

by Noss on 2014-02-23Rogers Arena - Vancouver

An amazingly simple and classy concert. It flowed beautifully between the two. Allowing time for each to be showcased. The transitions were seamless. And those voices are wonderful and actually compliment each other. Who would have ever thought to put the two together and yet it worked. Great concert.

Outstanding once in a lifetime moment !!!

    by Vancouverite14 on 2014-02-23Rogers Arena - Vancouver

On a scale from 1 to 10 I would give this concert an 11!! It was a truly wonderful and unforgettable experience - 2.5 hours of non-stop sublime musical entertainment very rarely found these days. No need for a lot of bells and whistles - this concert was about wonderful music performed by musicians in a league of their own. I have experienced Sting in concert twice in my life already, so I knew we were in for a treat. Yet, while also a long-time fan of Poul Simon, I have to say I was blown away by the chemistry between these two fantastic and talented musicians and their amazing bands. I loved that they performed together, while also giving each other space to perform separately. They were simply brilliant live - all their classic hits felt fresh, performed sublimely in ways that weren't just sounding like on earlier recordings. I also loved that Sting and Poul performed each others' songs - that was a wonderful surprise. And their band members - outstanding artists every one of them, while such good team players. All were granted space to shine. Above all, this concert was a reminder how amazing live music can be when performed by true artists, who love what they do. This concert was in a league of its own. I feel blessed that I was able to experience it.

    Icon and almost icon together

by JoelVancouverGuy on 2014-02-23Rogers Arena - Vancouver

You don't get much better than Sting and Paul Simon on the same stage. The staging was relativelty simple. Not a big deal it did not take away from the performance. Simon's sets were great. Stings sets were great. The magic happened when they were together on the stage and when they sang each other's songs and entered each other's space. Just great. The three hours went by so easily. Nice night of great music.

Sting and Paul Simon amazing together

by Anonymous on 2014-02-23Rogers Arena - Vancouver

This show was great! Enjoyed it immensely - how could it not be, with two fantastic artists on stage together? They played continuously, alternating numbers together with solo sets and no intermission - just 2 1/2 hours of fantastic music. The back up musicians were fantastic by themselves and several played really great solos. Three encores - they were very gracious and left the audience satisfied. I'm so glad I went.

High expectations going in, and they were exceeded and then some. Hard to describe the feeling of hearing the songs of your childhood sung by the people who wrote them. And they sound just as good now as they did back in the day.

Paul Simon and Sting a Truly Amazing Performance

by gruginis on 2014-02-23Rogers Arena - Vancouver

How do you put into words what an Iconic concert this was?!! While seemingly worlds apart in their relative music worlds, they were actually a great complement to one another providing concert goers with the best of both worlds. Bringing back hit after hit, they had the audience up on their feet from the get-go and while Sting is wonderful, Paul Simon was truly unforgettable. He is a Master in the music world as anyone who has heard Graceland can attest! At 72, he looked and sounded as though he was still in his prime, the music just flowing from his lips. I feel truly blessed and honoured to have had the chance to see Paul live in concert and Sting was an added bonus. Wow, I still can't believe I was there and it's a concert I will forever cherish!

Amazing memories and voices were strong and comple

by Truec on 2014-02-23Rogers Arena - Vancouver

Did a great job and played for over 2 hours. Both are wonderful story tellers and their talent still shows why they were, and are , so enjoyed. A combo of duets but lots of solo performances. I would have enjoyed a little more Sting, but Paul has such a variety of periods where his style changed. Bands has some great artists and the guitar solos were awesome.

It was hard to imagine the mix of Sting and Paul Simon, so was quite blown away by their renderings of each others songs and the duets. A top tier concert. Sting was on form and it was great to hear many of the The Police's hits. Paul Simon was equally in form.

    Awesome show

by eddieo on 2014-02-23Rogers Arena - Vancouver

In spite of the pathetic Canadian audience who thought it more fun to sit and watch the show through the screen of their cell phone as opposed to dance, clap and have fun, it was an amazing show. Paul and Sting gave it, the musicians they had on stage with them were top notch. It was a very special show.

    Musical pleasure

by Andronicus on 2014-02-23Rogers Arena - Vancouver

It was a pleasure, start to finish, to see these guys play. You knew the songs, and they have great taste in musicians so solos, even on unexpected instruments and vocals, were all excellent. Highlights were "Me and Julio", "Desert Rose", "Graceland", and the beginning of "Diamonds on the SOles of Her Shoes" where the crowd sang along in pretend harmony. And the encore was timeless.
