Not as exciting or enthralling as I was expecting.
I enjoyed it too much. This group is Amazing!! I loved it all the show. Everything was going excellent!!. Congrats to the production.
It is just so moving in person - next time I will sit closer!
My daughter and I had the best time at the Pentatonix concert! I wish they were here for the Christmas show too! I've been looking forward to them coming for a few years.
They were fantastic!! Engaged the crowd, amazing light show, sound was excellent! I would definitely see them again!
I was hooked when I saw a youtube video of them doing The Prayer and Amazing Grace. Totally awesome. Saw they were coming to Toronto, was so excited and bought tickets. They did not disappoint. Truly a spectacular evening with a group of such talented people. Enjoyed it so much, didn't want it to end. Thanks for being awesome.
Pentatonix never disappoints and this was no different. Incredible acapella talent, with both covers and original music, they're a force to be reckoned with.
Loved the event took my sister for her 50+ birthday been wanting to see them for awhile we connected and pretended to be young again. Great venue loved the acoustics great sound and lighting
I had really great seats so I was able to see pretty well. Pentatonix has always been fantastic and super talented. I love how their concerts are so interactive and that the audience can feel like a part off it all.
Excellent show! PTX had great energy and went non-stop for almost 2 hours. Worth every penny!
Absolutely, loved Pentatonix! This was my first official concert that I have gone to at rogers place, I was up in the higher seats and I wasn't sure what to expect. It turns out that the view was amazing and I could see and hear Pentatonix clearly and was able to take quite a few pictures. It felt really nice to be higher up because no one was blocking my view. I was able to scream, shout and singing along to all there songs. It was so much fun, and it was my first time seeing them live! I would go see them again in a heart beat! I hope Pentatonix comes back soon! I really really loved there performance!!!
Pentatonix was amazing! Sound was perfect in the large venue that is Rogers Place. 10/10 would watch again!
We were so happy that PTX came to Edmonton...we had been waiting for 8 years... It was my kids first concert and my daughter cried at the end because she didn't want it to be over. LOVE Pentatonix!!!
Pentatonix group is very talented and are great entertainers. However, the concert was not as enjoyable as it could have been due to the bass sounds they generated were much too loud / amplified which did not allow to understand/ hear the singing voices.
I was thoroughly disappointed with the show starting at 6:30. It was not made clear that the show was to begin at that time. I thought it meant doors were at 6:30. So we missed most of the first opening act but they are unknown band so I wasn't too upset. We made it in time for Rachel Platten but unfortunately they never turned the screens on so from where we were sitting we could only see a white out... when the lights are on her she was whited out. So that was disappointing. But Pentatonix made up for it. They were amazing. It was so neat to see a show where the only musical instrument used was an electric cello. And it was only used to showcase Kevin's skills as a beat boxer. Other than that it was just their voices. Blew me away. I was very impressed.
The visually appealing show fell short of compensating for the muddy sound. Disappointing vocals at times, with bottom heavy bass and erratic blending. A few standout performances, especially Bohemian Rhapsody and Hallelujah, but otherwise this arena seemed like the wrong venue for the Pentatonix. I hope they come back and perform for Vancouverites at the Orpheum!!
The performers were unreal. Such talent. If you ever get the chance to see them, go. It is well worth it. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the venue. $5 for a 25 cent grossly overpriced bottle of water. Food is no better. Very very expensive. If you intend to go make sure you eat before you get to Rogers Place. On top on that, it is a beautiful building but if you are on the second floor your only exit on the escalator is with 8 thousand others. 1 Escalator. Wow. Bad planning. There is stairs but that too is very busy.
Citizen Queen, Rachel Platten and Pentatonix were all exceptional! Definitely worth seeing.
Enjoyable show but the sound was muddy. We thought it might be where we were sitting, but friends were in a different section and they found the same issue with the sound. Also it would have been nice if intermission was announced rather than have the audience not knowing how long the break was. We did not realize it would be a 20 minute break. The group left the stage several times, they said nothing and we were left wondering. Lastly, we purchased the most expensive tickets to get good seats, but we were at the side of the stage and had trouble seeing what was going on especially the lighting and video on the curtains.
Pentatonix put on a great show! Outstanding opening act, Rachel Platten, had the crowd really hyped for the main event. I thought that Citizen Queen were not quite up to the same caliber of performance, but I`m sure that they will improve with time and practice. I feel that the venue was likely a bit too big for the harmonies of the Pentatonix to be fairly and easily heard. Perhaps, the Abbotsford Event Centre, with a more intimate setting, would have more correctly portrayed their vocal talents. I lookforward to seeing them again in the future!
