Nice night out. It would have been nicer to hear some of there older or more slower stuff.
Disappointed in the show - more glitz than quality music. Sound quality was horrible.
It was awesome n the weather was great which helped.
We took 2 generations to this concert, including one person who had never heard of Pentatonix, and we all had an amazing time. Their version of Bohemian Rhapsody was stunning!
When a band like Pentatonix hits the stage, it makes you wonder why all the other bands hide behind their instruments. Pentatonix was incredible!
Pentatonix was absolutely out of this world, I am glad we were able to travel over 900 miles across the province to see them live.
Thoroughly enjoyed the concert, but would much prefer to them them in a different venue. More like the Sony Centre.
We were so excited for the show but we're blown away when we saw the opening band. Simone we had been listening to for a long time.
Such a great show! High energy, great song selections, and awesome appreciative crowd
I have always loved Budweiser Garden for sound quality but was very disappointed with the Pentatonix concert. Don't know if it was because our seats were off to one side, or their sound people.
Echosmith accustics were too loud, especially the base and I couldn't understand what the lead singer was saying or singing. Pentatonix was great!
Pentatonix was the group I wanted to see. Never heard of the other group. The staging, the setting, my seats... all great. Only thing upsetting was the sound system. It was cranked up so high that it distorted the fantastic singing .... to the point that I could not understand the words! I was at the Piano Guys concert in July .. and it was perfect , everything... even the sound.. I would have taken my musician earplugs if I had known it was going to be this painful. The actual pain was WORSE for the opening group, Echosmith. And I had been looking forward to this concert for months!!! My friend standing in the mosh pit told me the sound there was much better!!
PTX was amazing! Lots of energy dancing smiling moving they didn’t stop for second, amazing group can’t wait till they come to Toronto again!
The actual Pentatonix show was amazing. Such a talented group of young people. I can’t praise them enough. However....the two bands that opened for them were not to our taste, music was way too loud, spoken words and lyrics impossible to understand.and we were very disappointed to have to wait from 8-9:30 for the “real” show to begin.None in our group of 18 had ever heard of the first two bands, it was not our style at all. By 9:30 I was ready to leave, but stayed for the show we payed to see. The parking wasn’t enough. Two of our group were unable to join us as they were unable to find parking. That was a huge disappointment! Might I suggest some kind of advance parking pass when you know the size of the crowd you will have. Drinks, food ridiculously overpriced. 5$ for a bottle of water. Having said all this, next time I’ll watch my favourite group on the internet or tv.
I was introduced to Callum Scott through the opening act and wow! He is someone I will continue to follow. Loved his music. So raw and personal. Very talented. Pentatonix - what can I say? I am in awe every time I hear them sing. I need to remind myself their voices is all that we hear. Incredible. I also love their story. They were so relatable to the audience of multiple generations. I loved every minute as did my son - it was his first concert!
We had a fantastic time. My daughter was so excited to experience her first concert and her very favourite band. We love Budweiser Stage, lots of fun.
Pentatonix put a lot of effort and production in to this concert in regards to lighting, presentation and choreography. Our sons first concert and he was impressed for a 12yr old. Queen at the end was an excellent ending to the night. Awesome!
The band is good at what they do, however, for the casual observer and not a diehard fan, this band is a one-trick pony. The lack of instrumentation quickly gets tiresome to the non-fan. The highlight of the concert was the cello solo, finally some instrumentation. The song selection did not highlight their strengths. This seemed more like a Vegas act. They clearly have wonderful voices, but the song selection didn't show their harmonies to full effect, in contrast, their voices were often competing and resulted in discordant sounds. They do best on traditional songs like "Hallelujah" which was well done.
Calum Scott started the show and was simply amazing. What a beautiful voice and so powerful. Echosmith followed and it was a painful experience, to be perfectly honest. Sound mix was dreadful... drums overpowered the entire set. You couldn't make out any of the vocals at all. If it were just a mix problem then I'd say that it was just a sound issue, but when you take the time to introduce the band, don't be so selfish as to only introduce your brothers and not your lead guitarist and keyboardist... that's just plain rude. I hope to never see them again. Pentatonix was beyond expectations! What a show! Everything was perfect, it was amazing. We will definitely see you all again!!
Easily the most unforgettable show that I've ever been to
