A great performance from a true show business professional! The perfect venue for her - big enough to accommodate her fans, but close enough to see her every movement. Petula put on a non-stop show of songs from the Sixties through to the "Naughts", some of which she wrote herself. A not to be missed event for all us veterans of the Sixties. Brava, Petula!
Brilliant performance at the Red Robinson theatre. you can see the british theatrical training shining thru from petula. Great with the audience...very personal. Climatic performer. starts off good and gets progressively beter thru put the show. She gives a bit of history to the songs and tells little stories about them. she still has a powerful voice...time has done her well. She's very gracious..a natural performer. you feel like you have had an experience. Was a hi light to have Red robinson himself introduce her .
Impressive and great to see Petula again after 4 decades.
Petula show was great...she still has it at 76! Her voice was unwavered she didnt' miss a note...she was humorous and loved the audience as always. She bounced about the stage at times, kicking up her heels, being cheeky...loved every minute.
Petula still has a great voice after all these years. She was very personable, and it was nice to hear her speak of certain people and events in her life. The odd time the musicians drowned her out, but otherwise an enjoyable evening!
Petula was good in respect to her age and that she is still performing. It was not a performance that had he wanting to get out of my seat. It was more dramatic than entertaining.
