About

Cuban-American rapper Pitbull, born Armando Perez, toured large venues with labelmate Ke$ha in 2013 as he backed his seventh studio album, Global Warming. The album topped the U.S. rap chart and spawned the Top 10 hit "Feel This Moment" (featuring Christina Aguilera). The Miami-based star, who raps in both English and Spanish, has gained a reputation as a crowd-pleasing, suave performer, essentially serving as a great host who delivers the music his fans want to hear in concert. His live shows usually feature a few dancers, a band, and special guests who help him create a party atmosphere for the fans who scored tickets.

His show was awesome. But was very disappointed with the fact that we were told he was coming on stage at three different times, and he ended up coming on stage over 2 hours after he was originally supposed to play at. Then the show was short.

It was in all a great show. It was shorter than I would have expected though. The commodore was a great location and I loved that it ended up being a smaller venue than Rogers Arena. Some dancers would have been cool but I loved the show and I enjoyed it.

Great concert! BUT TOO SHORT!!!!!!!!!!! People wait forever for the artist to show up and then in an hour and some it's all over!!!!!!! I think it is wrong to make people wait three hours prior to the main event!!!!!!! NOT IMPRESSED!

    PITBULL @ Cowboy's Stampede Tent

by Iesha on 2011-07-25Cowboys Stampede Tent - Calgary

This event was everything one would expect from a great artist like Mr. Worldwide, aka Mr. 305, PITBULL. He sang everything from his top hits to some of his original works! The crowd danced all night to every song & sang along with PITBULL. This has to be one of the best ways to see the famous Mr. Worldwide up close & to get your groove on with his fabulous music. PITBULL kept the crowds hopping with melodies of several top hits & his Spanish singing rhythms non-stop. Greatly appreciated by everyone who attended, especially his loyal fans who adore him! The event even included the latest hit song ,Rain Over Me which was just recently released in June before the event at Cowboys. Now the accompanying video is out, and PITBULL won 3 awards just this past Friday for Best Urban Artist, Best Song (Bon Bon) and best Ringtone! There will not be another chance to see PITBULL up close and so personal than the performance at Cowboys, as Mr. Worldwide takes the planet globally with his music, rhythms, dance moves & rocks every event with his fabulous energy. Mr. 305 kept up his highly addictive energy with every song performed and at no time did he appear to be running out of steam! Kudos to Cowboys for bringing in the top selling artist for their patrons to partying with for Stampede.

So my roomate and I showed up to Edmonton events center at 8pm when doors opened. The set up in there was good we had fun with the opening DJ until midnight rolled around and we wondered where pitbull was, we were getting crammed in there and stepped on and drinks spilt on us getting cranky, then finally after 12 pitbull comes on chants 2 of his songs and leaves.... Waste of my time!

He showed up on stage over an hour and 15 minutes late and then only played for one hour. Absolute waste of money to go see him.

    What a scam!!

by Anonymous on 2011-07-19Cowboys Tent - Calgary

What a scam! Not worth it at all. The concert was suppose to show up at 7:00 p.m. and apparently he didn't come in until 11:30 p.m. Waited in line forever - 2 hours to get in and when we got in they tried milking us to buy drinks and keep getting drunk. We waited until 9:30 p.m. and left. I felt like I got scamed!!! Apparently he was good but only on stage for 1/2 hour. I think when they say 7:00 p.m. on the tickets, they should start the show at 7:00 pm., not 11:30 p.m.!!

    Pibull better than last time

by Whitee on 2011-07-19Cowboys Stampede Tent - Calgary

The venue was a hot, airless, sweet filled tent. The warm up band was not required to get this crowd into a frenzy. They wanted Pitbull like a dog catcher wants pitbulls. His preformance I can not rate other than to say all the women where transfixed on his every move. They sang with him and swayed with him. It was a sea of sexually charged sweating woman. A pimple faced boy good get luck in this crowd.

    Disappointed

by SuckBigTime on 2011-07-19Cowboys Stampede Tent - Calgary

This was the biggest let down ever. The doors opened at 7:00 pm so we thought that the opener might start by 8:00, but obviously that didn't happen. Pitbull didn't come onto the stage until 11:00 pm. It would have been nice to know if that was the intention all along. It was just a money grab for Cowboys. We basically paid $70 each to get into a bar and listen to a DJ all night. We could have went to any other bar and got the same thing. Pitbull sounds great on the radio or cd, but is disappointing in person.

This was such a bad show, i saw him in San Francisco and he was AWESOME, but his show in Canada had no effort put into it at all. He didn't go on until 11:15 when doors opened at 8. It wouldn't have been such a big deal if he actually had real guests, not some dj and some guy who just sang along to the music. The crowd was super into the show at first but when we were kept waiting for 3 hrs, people started getting so annoyed and were pushing and fighting in the crowd. He didn't even get to the venue until 11. I was really excited to see Pitbull again in concert and was extremely disappointed, we ended up seeing him for 10 min after he decided to come out and were so over the show at that point we just left. I paid $ 70 bucks and will never see him again, he has no respect for his fans and doesn't deserve my respect.

by lilmum on 2011-07-18Edmonton Event Centre - Edmonton

was not happy with the 3 and a half hour wait for him to come on stage and the wall to wall people pushing and shoving to get closer . The event center was so hot and should have opend the top half . But i was thrilled with him as a show he is full of energy for the hour he was on any way !
