About

Cuban-American rapper Pitbull, born Armando Perez, toured large venues with labelmate Ke$ha in 2013 as he backed his seventh studio album, Global Warming. The album topped the U.S. rap chart and spawned the Top 10 hit "Feel This Moment" (featuring Christina Aguilera). The Miami-based star, who raps in both English and Spanish, has gained a reputation as a crowd-pleasing, suave performer, essentially serving as a great host who delivers the music his fans want to hear in concert. His live shows usually feature a few dancers, a band, and special guests who help him create a party atmosphere for the fans who scored tickets.

    Pitbull concert very iffy!

    by Lumis220 on 2011-07-18Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

Let me start by saying that the venue really sucked....will never ever go to a concert or show at the Commodore....It was very dissapointing, firstly doors were suppposed to have opened at 7:30pm, did not get in until 8:30 pm we were the first few in the line-up, so we waited for like 3 hrs...then it started off with some really sucky dj, who every 10 mins. for 3 1/2 hrs. kept on shouting "who wants Pitbull?" it came to a point that no one hardly said Pitbull anymore....Pitbull himself did not show up until 11:10 pm only to perform for like an hour, the guy can deliver and with all the material he's got I do not understand why he didn't really give a concert it was kinda like the dj w/guest!!!, I'm sorry but if I had wanted to be in a nightclub setting I could've just paid my $10 bucks cover charge and gone to a good night club to listen to a dj, most definately not pay $80.00!!! then the bathrooms, what a disgrace for the amount of ppl they only had one bathroom, one for the ladies and one for the gents, after waiting for like 1/2 hr. to pee, I go in there only to discover massive filth, and not only that, toilet overflowing with crap!!!!ughh! discusting!!!, to Pitbull I say, keep up the good job, but dude try a little harder for your fans, you truly do have a lot of them....as for Pitbull and guests, well where were they? there was absolutely no guests involved!

    ok

by nykky on 2011-07-17Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

they switced the venue....which was fine...but commodore was slow at getting people in...once in the bartender we happened to get was slow and seem to spill everything. Once we had our drinks we went to wait with the crowd of people. Pitbull didn't get on stag until 11:30...by then we had been standing there for 3 hours. Very diva like for a man. If you can't come on at a decent time, then at least get an opening act so people aren't getting bored and tired. Also I understand he is hispanic but majority of the time when he was talking to the crowd he spoke spanish. So the only thing understandable was 'Vancouver'. I do love his music and songa and this was enjoyable to see him perform.

    Waited too long

by Bettaluva on 2011-07-17Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

Pitbull was late 3 hours, venue was changed at the last minute - should have discounted ticket price, MC was a little lame and people were getting bored while waiting, but guests (opening acts) were awesome, Pitbull himself rocked the night, but people were expecting a longer show. Unforgettable experience regardless, Vancouverites have waited too long for Pitbull to drop by Vancouver - and when he finally did, it was all worth the wait.

This show was the worst I have ever been too

by Casslea on 2011-07-17Edmonton Event Centre - Edmonton

I would not recommend seeing this artist to anyone. He went on stage a hour and a half late and was singing other artists songs and lip singing

Pitbull was ok - came in sooo late

by Jaxee on 2011-07-17Edmonton Event Centre - Edmonton

Liked his energy and voice sounded good - but came on at 11:30 when show started at 8 on tickets - also didn't know a bunch of the songs - shows was ok just not worth the $60 with all the fees and stuff. For shows this was my least fav for the year but had fun dancing but for $60 still alot for such a short show and not much to it at all - not a real finished act

    The Wait that was forever

by Bass45 on 2011-07-17Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver, Bc

We thought Pitbull was going to be amazing we listened to him before his show over the radio we got to the commodore we waited in line for 30mins were ID twice. Finally when we were allowed in and we thought the show was about to start the opening act was a DJ he played remixed music mostly in latin. The DJ kept saying he be out here in a few minutes well the few minutes turned into 2 1/2hours. Then when finally Pitbull came on stage he sang his songs mostly in latin and not in what we all originally thought they were in English. He talked to the large latino crowd in latin while the rest of us who came thought we came for the concert to see him and be spoken to in English. Then when he thought he could not hear the sound coming out of one of the front speakers he pointed at it then finally kicked it. Everything seemed to be about promoting the new latino night club opening up in vancouver little did we think maybe it was about catering to the latino culture we thought it was suppose to be a concert. Overall we thought it was generally rude having to wait vitrually until 11:15pm until Pitbull walked on stage then addressed the audience in latin. He didn't even give a excuse of why he was so late to start when he finally got up on stage. When originally the concert was set to start at 8pm never had to wait that long ever for a main act to come out on stage. I definately would not go see his concert again if he came again felt it was a waste of money and time that could of been well used elsewhere...

    Not worth going

by BMurda on 2011-07-16Edmonton Event Centre - Edmonton

DId not like the DJ's at all. Fights were breaking out all over the crowd, and the venue was way too small.

    Dumb

by lameee on 2011-07-16Edmonton Event Centre - Edmonton

Left before he even came out on stage. Doors opened 8, and waited around until 11:30 and he was still a no show. Dj's started playing the same songs over and over again. It was fun until everyone started to get impatient.

    Pitbull in Edmonton - meh

by Kate1982 on 2011-07-16Edmonton Event Centre - Edmonton

His opening DJs played some of the same songs twice. Pitbull was two hours late taking the stage and when he did finally start at 1130 he only played for an hour... lame

I left at 11.30PM and he was still not on the scene after the DJ said 5-6 times every 30 minutes ''Are you ready for Mr Worldwide''. This was ridiculous. I would like to see it but it was just too late for me on weekdays.

    Horrible

by Dips on 2011-07-16Edmonton Event Centre - Edmonton

1 hour lineup then wait for 3.5 hours for Pitbull to show up for 55 minutes - the DJ's with the show were good and kept the crowd moving and in good spirits for 3.5 hours .. but by the time he showed up the crowd was also exhausted .. and a lot of people left early He doesnt speak english and spoke most of the time in Spanish which most people dont understand in Canada .. nearly half the songs were not his hits but just in spanish which not many people knew .. he sang a few of his hits towards the end and then wrapped up the show. All in all I wouldnt pay good money to see him or his show and he lost a lot of fans that day .. he didnt have the decency to say to his fans that he was 3.5 hours late and thanks for being there and waiting for him ...
