POST MALONE IN CONCERT:
Rising rapper and R&B singer Post Malone hit pay dirt in 2015 with his hugely popular breakout single "White Iverson," a Top 3 jam on the Hot Rap Songs chart that has racked up more than 200 million views on YouTube. Since then he's made good on the promise of that auspicious debut, generating major buzz with his 2016 mixtape August 26th and hitting the road for the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour Presents: Post Malone The Hollywood Dreams Tour. In concert Malone's excitement and passion are palpable, and his rapid-fire flow, bass-heavy beats, and infectious dancing always get fans moving their feet. He slayed in early 2016 as an opening act on Justin Bieber's Purpose World Tour, and followed up with killer headlining sets of his own in support of his much-anticipated debut album Stoney.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Austin Richard Post, aka Post Malone, was born in New York but spent his formative years in Dallas, TX. He taught himself to play guitar and produce music in high school, and at age 16 he became a local legend with his first independent mixtape release. He enrolled in a local community college after graduation, but dropped out after a few months to move to Los Angeles and pursue his music career. Once there he linked up with production team FKi Music, a fruitful collaboration that yielded several songs including "White Iverson." That track went viral in early 2015, racking up millions of plays on SoundCloud and YouTube and leading to a record deal with Republic Records. Malone's rise continued in 2016 with the release of his mixtape August 26th, his national TV debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and a collaboration single with Justin Bieber titled "Déjà Vu." His debut full-length Stoney generated big buzz in late 2016, and he continues to impress with swaggering, hit-filled sets on tour.

His energy is incredible even after all of the touring he’s been doing. He is truly such an inspiring person which reflects in his shows. I love the Budweiser Stage. The venue is awesome and is a huge part of the experience. The only thing I’d say that wasn’t positive was having to spend an hour sheltered under the covered section of the stadium as there was a couple lightning strikes. I understand they have to keep everyone safe, but they wouldn’t serve alcohol and were encouraging people not to go to the bathroom. The lack of drinks and bathroom access was illogical and frustrating. But 1000% worth it to see Posty.

by TCTagg on 2023-07-23The show was different than his usual as he had a live band. He also played electric guitar. Crowd was pumped! He came down to the fence for photos , autographs and hugs. Was worth the floor general admittance.

by qnofpkr on 2023-07-23It was my birthday wish to play beer pong on my birthday with Post Malone. But that wasn’t going to happen, so once I seen he was coming on the day of my birthday I had to go. With the rain and storms coming through I was a bit worried. But he made it worth it. He sounded amazing , his show was amazing and the crowd was hyped. I had the best birthday ever and I would do it all again. Rain and all!!!

by thomrob33 on 2023-07-23my first show ever, a post malone one. i looked like older shows of him online, or from people close to me that saw him before, but this time around, he has a whole band behind him, which makes the whole experience completely different. more liberty when doing the songs, like solos, slowing down the songs, making pauses and all. the lighting effect was just perfect. thank you for letting me sing with you, austin <3

by kpolicicchio on 2023-07-23I’m a HUGE fan of Post Malone and although this is my first time seeing him live, I would do it 20x over again. He is such an amazing entertainer, so down to earth, and really knows how to get the crowd going. Even with disastrous weather, it was so so beyond worth it. Such an amazing show, I highly recommend seeing Posty!

by Brandon on 2023-07-23Great concert, doors open at 6 almost got cancelled due to weather, didn’t let anyone in past 7 at around 7:45 they announced they would continue but the show was delayed by 10 minutes. Non the less, they allowed it to continue and everyone was so happy. Amazing show, amazing venue, posty was an incredible proformer, he’s in my top 3 now.

by Rosie on 2023-07-23Better arrangements need to be made for rain procedures. Maybe supply ponchos? Towels to dry your seat? Something to make it easier for unexpected rain. There's very little shelter for those in uncovered seats.
