POST MALONE IN CONCERT:
Rising rapper and R&B singer Post Malone hit pay dirt in 2015 with his hugely popular breakout single "White Iverson," a Top 3 jam on the Hot Rap Songs chart that has racked up more than 200 million views on YouTube. Since then he's made good on the promise of that auspicious debut, generating major buzz with his 2016 mixtape August 26th and hitting the road for the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour Presents: Post Malone The Hollywood Dreams Tour. In concert Malone's excitement and passion are palpable, and his rapid-fire flow, bass-heavy beats, and infectious dancing always get fans moving their feet. He slayed in early 2016 as an opening act on Justin Bieber's Purpose World Tour, and followed up with killer headlining sets of his own in support of his much-anticipated debut album Stoney.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Austin Richard Post, aka Post Malone, was born in New York but spent his formative years in Dallas, TX. He taught himself to play guitar and produce music in high school, and at age 16 he became a local legend with his first independent mixtape release. He enrolled in a local community college after graduation, but dropped out after a few months to move to Los Angeles and pursue his music career. Once there he linked up with production team FKi Music, a fruitful collaboration that yielded several songs including "White Iverson." That track went viral in early 2015, racking up millions of plays on SoundCloud and YouTube and leading to a record deal with Republic Records. Malone's rise continued in 2016 with the release of his mixtape August 26th, his national TV debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and a collaboration single with Justin Bieber titled "Déjà Vu." His debut full-length Stoney generated big buzz in late 2016, and he continues to impress with swaggering, hit-filled sets on tour.

I seen him back in April 2018 at the same venue.. I love the man! He has made a huge improvement from the last show, big screens, lights, fireworks, such an amazing show!!! LOVED IT
The show started late but it was well worthwhile the wait. Would go again if he came back!
Had started the night a bit annoyed due to the doors opening late, finally got to the front and there was a glitch on the ticketmaster app and my one ticket was not scanning, we had to get out of line and re-enter once we sorted the tickets out. I had purchased Pre-Sale tickets so I knew that there shouldn't of been an issue. Ticketmaster had quickly fixed the issue and seats had been upgraded to Third Row Tickets, I was beyond shocked at the quick service and the seat upgrade - this lead to an amazing night !! I was able to be front and center with my all time favorite artist.
Post Malone is so talented and this show did not disappoint! He played about 40% new content and 60% from past albums. The production value was high with fireworks, explosions and flames. 10/10 LOVE HIM
Post Malone, Swae Lee, and Tyla Yaweh were amazing live. Energy is out of this world and the flow of the sets for all three were great for a large concert!
It was the best day of my whole life because I really enjoyed Post Malone's performance. If I hadn't bought VIP rockstar package, I'd regret it seriously. I'm so thankful to Posty and Ticketmaster. I hope it would be the last time.
It was an amazing concert even after the guy behind us projectile vomited on my friend and I. Post Malone didn’t disappoint, he’s super fun to watch, he makes the audience feel like family and this is my second time seeing him in Vancouver, can’t wait to see him again!
Show was amazing! Love PST Malone and his special guests!
So it was my first time at Echo beach and as far as the venue goes its pretty much standing room only and theirs a few grassy hills you can sit on. I liked it overall with the wind from the lake it wasn't too hot on a hot day. Also there's plenty of beer stands everywhere! so no wait for drinks! As for the show the opening acts were great in getting the crowd pumped for Posty! BUT! by the time they left and the time Post came out it was like over an hour of standing their just waiting and it kinda killed my buzz! . Only stayed up front for a few of his songs then went to sit in the grass then back up close toward the end. But for all that waiting Post was only on for maybe an hour? Also woulda like some video screen to see good from the back. Also all the people recording with their phones! like hes right their in front of you ! look with your eyes! bad enough tryna see through all the people when u get up close to only have phones in ur view! But all in all a fun experience! would def see Post again!!
Post Malone was the best concert to ever be seen, he wasn't out for a long time but he was absolutely amazing, sounds just like the album. Chelsea
Great concert, outdoor venue was a new and fun experience. He sounded great but was on stage for too short of a time.
Loved the show, the venue, and most of all the performers. There was hardly no seating; however, it wouldn’t completely deter me from attending the show again.
iI got to the venue at 2pm and managed to get to front row! It could not have possibly had a better view or overall experience. I was also able to hear soundcheck while waiting to get into the venue and it was amazing. This was hands down the best show i have ever been to. He played for just over an hour. To see Post that close up was literally unreal, and I'm so grateful I got to witness him in his element doing what he loves, while having the best seat in the house. His energy is contagious, and he really loves the fans and is humble. Highlight of the show were a lot of the tunes he sang, it was a fair mix of his first album, Stoney, and his newest album, Beerbongs & Bentleys, and if you haven't heard it yet go have a listen, its incredible. Highlight for me though had to be the end of the show when Post came down right next to me and I got to touch his arm. Also got incredible pics and videos. Totally unforgettable show. much love for ya posty.<3 ps all my photos and videos are NO ZOOM.
Post was obviously great, just wished I could see past all the tall sweaty peopl
Loved it, amazing. He only stayed on for an hour but he made up for it because he’s so talented and fun.
This was the shortest concert I have ever attended. He was on stage for just over an hour. The openers were on for over 2 hours. For the price I paid to stand in a crowd, I would say it wasn't that worth going unless you are a huge fan.
Although it was very expensive I felt it was worth it as we had a great time and he put on an amazing show!
I’ve seen Post Malone twice now and each time he was amazing. He has so many hit songs and everyone knows the words and sings along so the energy is super high. He’s also really down to earth and cares about his fans. He is diverse too... sure he’s a rapper but that doesn’t mean he won’t pull out his guitar and sing a few ballads. One of my favourite artists currently.
Sang all the songs we love. Hate General Admission. Unless you’re tall you have no hope of seeing anything and there aren’t any large screens.
