Great show, a little short, but she is faboulous. She a great lady, love her show too Reba forever, saw her years ago and she is still fantastic
this was the most amazing, unforgettable, blow your socks off event i've ever been too!!! if there was ever a time to use the word "surreal" this would be it! i still cant believe that i saw her live!!!
Reba has a fantastic voice, but she just stood there and sang, no real show was put on, not like Reba to not put on an amazing show! A little dissipointed!
Certainly NOT the best concert I've been to. Music was WAY too loud for her voice and was actually to the muffle stage where we were sitting - section 225. Sound was better when we plugged our ears!! Could not see the screen as the speakers were blocking it. What we saw and what we heard was not worth the price we paid. Certainly hope the Saddledome sound system is improved for George Strait on Saturday!
have wanted to see Reba for a very long time! Love her voice and her wit as well.
Only Reba, no warm up performer, gotta love it when you pay money for a specific performer and you get only them & 1 1/2 hours non stop. She is so down to earth, tells us a little bit about herself, just enough to lead into the reason for the next song. She brings tears to my eyes singing songs like "Still" & "Because of You", she herself portrays so much emotions when she sings these 2 songs, Absolutely amazing - third time I have seen her. Back about 1990, 2007 & 2009. Will probably go again if I can get better seats. Would love to see her in a smaller venue.
Great singer, high energy in songs she sang. Show was alittle short for the price -- only 1.5 hours. No backup band either. The stage and lighting extras were just average.
We had awesome seats (centre-stage, 23 rows back) and she puts on a heck of a show. Sound was good, lighting was good, show was well put on. I would have liked her to stay on a little longer than an hour and 20 minutes, (Crossroads with Kelly Clarkson was 2 and a half hours), but that would be my only negative thing to say. Reba is a class act, and a star for the ages. If you'd even thought about seeing her, I'd recommend it. One day she'll retire and you'll say "I should have gone to see her when I had the chance".
The acoustics were amazing...the songs were excellent - of course... but...I was disappointed that she told the same stories and told the same jokes as she did 2 years ago when she played at the Stampede.
Show was short, no opening act, no costume change. I had heard so many great things, that just were not lived up to.
i loved it. reba's voice is just perfect. i wish i could have been closer. the price of the tickets was great and well worth it, the concert could have been longer but i suppose everyone wants a concert to go on longer! i would go again and again. thanks reba you rock!
This was an amazing concert. I own every single one of her cd's and love them all. But her songs sound soooo much better live. She is so passionate about her songs and in the way she sings them. She is an amazing person.
I am a huge fan of Reba! The show last night was incredible. her voice is so intense and goes right through you. She puts real emotion in some of her songs while she sings. She is so talented and she knows how to work a crowd. Reba is so down to earth and she really shows the love for her fans. The only thing that I was disappointed about was how short it was and there was no opening act. Other than that it was so amazing. I will definitely be going to another Reba concert!
Concert and Music was great as always... dissapointed with Stage set up. Unable to see her big screen at all as the the big speakers where right in the way. looked like 50% of the people would not have seen her screen. Show was to much like last years, same songs same stories. But it is Reba she is Great and a star!!!
She puts on one of the best concerts and shows alot of emotion towards the fans
As she reminded her fans last night, Reba has been in the music industry for over 30 years, and she has the hit songs to prove it. While she was once known for her big hair, flashy stage shows and great clothes, last night's show was a more low key affair. With no opening act, and during Stampede, fans should have been expecting a glow out show. Instead, they got Reba in jeans and a sparling tank top, and a more personal show. The length of the show was a bit of a let down, not quite an hour and a half, and therefore Reba edited her play list to a few old favorites and a couple of new songs. Her voice is still amazing, the power of her voice filled the areana, and her sparkling personality is very evidant when she is on stage. A great show, a great performer, yes. But more time together would have been the icing on the cake.
I would say that seeing Reba is concert is the best experience you could have. She is so down to earth and she makes you feel like you have known her for years. I love her voice. I would suggest that if you haven't seen her, you should experience one of her concerts in your lifetime.
Good show, very upbeat and spirited. Reba's microphone may have been overpowered by her band at times, but otherwise a good performance.
We went and thoroughly enjoyed the concert Reba gave on July 9th, 2009 at the Pengrowth centre in Calgary. What a cute little ball of energy she is, the music was great, the atmosphere and her way with the audience. A total enjoyment!
As a fine wine, Reba is only getting better with age. Her stage show is much better now without all the broadway props, and with the focus back on what it is important, the song and her beautiful voice.
