It was so good to go out to hear a performer that truly knows how to entertain without the use of profanity!! My 12 year old daughter was the one who wanted to go see "Red Green" and she loved every minute of it... she had to have Red's book and we waited in line to have it signed.
Steve was very witty and funny - we both enjoyed his show immensely. However, we kinda missed the workshop atmosphere he has on his TV show - wondered if something could have been set up?
This was a truly enjoyable, refreshingly funny show, as true Red Green fans for years we were excited to see that Red Green was coming to Calgary - we would attend again in a heartbeat.
From the moment the show began until it ended, there was never a dull moment. He is very funny and I would definitely see this show again. The fact that he signed autographs and that I got a picture with him is something I will never forget. I bought his book and it is very interesting. It was a great show, in a great location!
Loved this show. Classic Red Green charm and humour however there was a sound problem in the first half of the show or should I say a lack of sound .No it wasn't just my aging ears as my twenty year old daughter was having problems hearing the lines too. At intermission, I heard several other people speaking to staff at the Jubilee and the sound was more audible in the second half. A good show but disappointing when you can't catch the punch line. It was a little like seeing Red with only one suspender!
Got these tix as a gift for my hubby, he really enjoyed the show... Red green is the macgyver of Canda..... Long live duct tape!
Red Green made ya feel like you were part of possem lodge great experience highly recommend it to anyone
I enjoyed the 2 hours of laughs (difficult to find these days!) The presentation was very good, easy to hear and understand. We found ourselves shaking our heads and rolling our eyes as we agreed with some happening of life as told by Red Green. It was also amusing to watch other peoples' reactions as they enjoyed a good laugh.
A fan of the show since as far back as I can remember, this was the perfect opportunity to take dad out for a father-daughter date. We both laughed and agreed that it was an evening well spent... especially for the conversation after the show.
Very clean show as would be expected from Red. Worst swear word used and only once was hell. Good laughs good advice to all and just a great time was had.
I bought the tickets for my husband for his birthday as he loves to watch the Red Green show. Although I have never watched his TV show, I thought I would go too, because I remember him from a previous TV show he used to do with his wife. Needless to say both my husband and loved the show, laughed for two hours and all the way home. It was a fun show and would recommend it to anyone thinking of going to see the Wit & Wisdom show!!!
Funny guy especially if you watched the tv show Would recommend the show if you want a good laugh.
It was comedy at its' best. It was funny, engaging, and not rude. He kept old, and young entertained for the duration.
Funny, Awesome, LOVED IT!! Red Green the great Canadian Icon!!
Excellent, and great value for price. Show was 2 hours including intermission.
Loved the show. Was amazed at the age variation in the crowd.. From young to old and RED GREEN addressed them all.. Would of liked to see at least one prop act in each session but all in all was a truly great show!
I needed this concert to wipe out my horrible last concert at the Jube, which was the incredibly gross Tracey Morgan. 'Red' was a sweetheart The pre intermission part, an hour in length, was full of chuckles, references to 'Old Man Sedgewick' and the others from the series. Then a hugely long intermission of 25 minutes. The last 35 minutes were golden, and I had tears running down my face when he told the audience why old guys his age shouldn't date younger women, with a long bit on what old guys bodies look like-very funny stuff.Only complaint was it was over too soon!
There was 6 of us in our group and everyone of us enjoyed it. The time went fast. It was good to know that good clean humour is still funny! Only 3 out the 6 actually have watched his show, the rest has seen it but not really made a point of it to watch, but the humour was good anyway.
Ok - but was hoping to see some of his inventiosn that we saw prior to show time
