Love it when a band lives up to your hopes live. Fast, fun, amazing!
I would go to this concert a thousand times if I could , it was amazing!
My wife and i had such a great time. Good venue. Sound was good. Ample parking. Easy to get to.
Without Audience of One this band can at best be scored on a 9/10 basis.
Much improved over the tour from 2 years ago, mostly because the band was able to feed off of a better crowd. The band clearly enjoys performing for their fans. Good setlist with new and older songs. They play for 1.5 hours including 3 acoustic songs. A little longer would have been nice considering the price of the ticket.
I've been following Rise Against since Revolutions Per Minute and always enjoy going to their shows. Last time I'll see them at Burton Cummings theatre though. Sound is awful and sitting down for a punk show is less than ideal. They played a 3 song acoustic set that was awesome. Wish they'd have played a bit more older stuff. They mostly played their singles.
Poor vocals and instrumental tuning left voices muffled. Much of the music, especially the opening acts, sounded much different than their albums (when performing live) due to the poor tuning
The best show again , great venue , very interactive
Once again Rise Against show they are one of the best live bands of the past 15 years. Smiles on every band members face the whole show and intense performance filled with passion.
Waited many years to see Rise Against, boy they put on an amazing show! The opening act, Pierce the Veil was spot on! The energy of both band was electrifying! Wow
This was my third time seeing Rise Against at the Shaw. It was great! The sound was quite bad for the openers though, who were White Lung and Pierce the Veil.
I have seen many shows at Shaw Conf. and really wish they would go back to having the bleachers on the sides or at least one side. For the shorter people in the crowd who cannot see from the floor (EX. my daughter) We would have spent half the time on the floor getting shoved around (which is totally fine and fun) but then could catch a break watching in the stands. The concert was great and I will go there again to see a show but the bleachers would make it just that much better.
10/10 would see again! Rise against always puts on a great show and thus one was no different! Great time all around!!
Great show and a great venue. Rise against rocked out and the sound was excellent
Rise against is an amazing band! They pull off a great show. The sound though was not the greatest. You could hear them picking the guitar strings. With Pierce the Vail you couldn't hear the lead guitar. Also during both sets you could hardly see the bands because the lights were blasting in your eyes. The bands were fantastic but sound and lighting guys sucked. Parking at this venue is a nightmare. We waited 2 hours to get out. So definitely not a fan of this venue.
I have seen Rise Against 5 times and this was the best sounding show.
There was no assigned seating, standing whole concert. But the stage was set up high enough any where u stood u could see it.
This is the 3rd time I have seen Rise Against and as always they were awesome. They played most of my favourite songs, though I do wish they had played more from the new album. My only complaint is that they don't play long enough. It was barely an hour and a half, and they have so much music!
Loved how the first song the fans sang louder than Tim. It was funny. Tim didn't even need to sing. Sounds just like the recorded music.
This concert was one of the best I have ever seen live. Not because they too flashy show or anything like that but because they sound like they do on their albums and they are genuine amazing musicians.
