Rock of Ages (Toronto) Tickets

I went to rock off ages with 4 people. I’ve seen the movie, so we thought it would be very similar to it. Unfortunately, there was a lot of sexual orientation male on male and female on male that made my party want to leave before the second half of the show. We also couldn’t hear, it seemed very thrown together. It was cheesy. My mother and her party of 3 also went, my grandmother fell asleep and the other two didn’t like it as well! They should really think about who their target audience is before selling tickets. It’s no wonder the theatre was almost 60% empty. Yikes.

Undeniable canadian talent! From start to end, this show is non stop excitement....the music, laughs, lighting and musicians keep you wrapped in nostalgic bliss of the 80's. So glad i got to experience this 3 times this year!!!

I thought it was great. A couple up to date political/local jokes thrown in, is always good.

We had second row seats. We got a very close look at the actors and the way they got along so well on the show, it was absolutely incredible to watch their facial expressions with each other an incredible night for both my daughter and myself who was celebrating her 32nd birthday that night

If you're a fan of the 80's music and big hair, this show is for you. They did a great job of weaving 80's hits throughout the play and it works well. Everyone was singing along and having a great time. Some of the likes are also funny.

More Entertainment did mysical theatre proud!! Rock of Ages was perfection! It was so good we went three times!! The character Lonny was fantastic! The audience loved him! His vocals were amazing! The entire cast had vocal gold!! The dance numbers were amazing! Bravo to the entire cast and crew! The most fun we've had at the theatre!

Great performances, great music, and we had so much fun! Recommend this show a million times over!

Unbelievably good singing, musical arrangements and musicianship! Great choreography and there were some truly standout dancers among the cast! The audience interaction and improv (?) remarks worked 98% of the time - which was really fun and unexpected! The performers were stellar but story suffered a little bit from comparison to the rest of the show … sorry writers … and are the only reason the rating isn’t a full 5.

We had great seats, 5th row to an awesome show. Rock of Ages was just silly, pure, fun! We clapped, laughed and sang along. Our favourite character was Lonny! How funny! He was a former student of mine and I felt so proud seeing him as a star!

Rock of Ages was a fantastic show. The cast was excellent. They all put forth a great effort. The lighting was amazing. Great music in beautiful theatre.

Great show using music to tie together a love story

Stunning cast, stunning set design, stunning voices, strong bold acting choices all around. Choreography and dancers were a highlight. Bold and hilarious. What an amazing production.

This show was absolutely incredible! I had to go back to watch it for a 2nd time! Absolutely amazing!!

My girlfriend and I had so much fun! The show was incredible. The voice of male lead was EXTRAORDINARY! Give him a record! We dressed up and danced the night away.

Unfortunately, we felt that the show was below par to any other musicals we’ve seen. We are seasoned musical goers. The sound was not projecting, and could not hear the voices, the music was overpowering them. It was hard to follow what was happening on stage as the choreography was all over the place. The set was good and the show was saved by Franz and Regina with their humor and wonderful voices. We went on a Wednesday and half the theater was empty, which made it sad for the cast. Just not the same feeling a full audience brings. Also paying orchestra prices and letting all the people from the back move forward rubs you the wrong way. We had some good laughs though. Wardrobe needs a huge review. Who ordered those used and abused wigs from Value Village??? Sadly a 3/10.

It was great. There is an audience participation app for the performance. Everyone did a magnificent job.

It was a great show! Very well cast! Music and dancing were entertaining. My only complaint is that the ushers were seating people 20 mins into the show and people stood in front of us while figuring out their seats. There was no waiting for a pause in the show to allow late comers find their seats.

Bought tickets for my daughter's 16th birthday. We loved the show, the energy and, of course, the music!! We particularly loved Lonny (Dave Comeau). Our only compliant would be that Sherrie's vocals were a little difficult to hear in the first half, but that did seem to be rectified in the second hard. However, we would thoroughly recommend this as a fun evening out in Toronto. Catch it before it's gone!!

“Rock of Ages” in Toronto at the Elgin Winter Garden Theatre was unbelievable show! Really great hopefully after the World Tour they’ll return because you gotta see this show!

Fantastic musicians and excellent performers. I was amazed how much talent we have in Canada.
