You sound as good as you did back in the seventies when I listened to you all weekend while doing homework. Grades 9-13. I play your C.D. often and my kids age 20, 15, 13 and 11 enjoy you too ! wishing you many more years of thrilling performances. A fan still after 35 years. Namastay!
I would highly recommend this event to others. Lighting, sound and backup were excellent but Roger fought with his voice all night but still did well. His repertoire was great but his performance was a bit of a struggle. It was a bit short but nearly 2 hrs. I guess I am just used to current groups and expectations too high.
I saw Supertramp in Stockholm 1979 it was amazing, yesterday was like going back in time. Roger sounds great with his orchestra and band perfect selection of songs. Thanks for making me feel 30 years younger.
Roger gave an impeccable rich performance on Friday night. He is naturally comfortable on stage -and incredibly talented. He is very assured and relaxed;inviting the audience to travel down memory lane with him. Roger's passion for music and sensitivity to the spirit was transparent and refreshing. Roger also acknowledges the talent of his co-musicians on stage well - very appreciative person. HIghly recommend this event for anyone who loves the extraordinary musical creativity of classical with a twist of Rock! LOVED IT and YOU WILL TOO!
this entertainer is soooo inspirational and one of the few real artists left.Such sincerity and compassion in his lyrics and music.. His voice continues to get better and better as the years go by... I hope you will come back soon Roger so I can enjoy your concert with more of my friends. Thank you again Roger for such a wonderful evening!!!!!!
Roger Hodgson was unbelieveable as was the orchestra. What a show and definetly something every Supertramp fan should see at least once.
His voice was sounding great and the set-list was the best I've heard yet (3rd time seeing him in 4 years).
Rogers once again, performed an outstanding show. Even with the couple of glitches in the electronics, Roger kept the audience entertained with his charismatic nature. Interacted well with the audience. Great value for the price
Enjoyed every moment of this concert. Rogers voice is still as great as ever. The orchastra and the choir added a whole new dimension. I would recommend it to anyone. Roger is very layed back, down to earth and easy to listen to.
Once again outstanding! My 5 th time back and even though his voice was giving him trouble again, he is a true showman.
Rogers voice was a bit tired on some songs. He explained to the crowd about his heavier schedule this year and that he was ready for a rest.I loved the show especially the orchestra and the choir and Aaron MacDonald was brilliant.I have been a fan of the music 35 years and always will be I would think.
Life is short and our memories should be filled up with events like this.
Canada Loves Roger !!!! I Saw your show last year and was blown away. The music was unreal . The Lyrics the Mind of a Genius. And the Singing was Picht Perfect. The whole Show was a Collaberation of Many Doing a Labour of Love. There was a lady I work with that went to both shows last year and loved both.This Year (last night) I took a new lady friend with me . She knew a few Supertramp songs but was not a fan. By The end of the show she was extatic and gave me a great big kiss and said it was The Best Show she had ever seen. I am a CHFI FM 98.1 fan and tell them on a monthly bassis to play Supertramp, and they Do. I also informed them to send someone from the station to see the Best Show in the World. I hope they did.
