About

RUSH took rock music into uncharted territory and to unmatched heights fueled by the once-in-a-lifetime interplay of Geddy Lee (bass, keys, vocals), Alex Lifeson (guitar, vocals), and the late Neil Peart (drums, lyrics). Selling over 45 million albums worldwide, garnering seven Grammy Award nominations, tallying billions of streams, and earning induction into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame, the pioneering trio’s incalculable influence has spanned generations, attracting one of the most ardent audiences in history. These musicians effectively reimagined and redefined rock without boundaries, striking a balance between elite instrumentation, anthemic vocals, provocative lyricism, and timeless storytelling both sonically and thematically. RUSH notably achieved “the third most consecutive gold/platinum studio albums by a rock band behind only the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.” Furthermore, their accolades have included becoming Officers of the Order of Canada in 1996, achieving the Canadian Governor General’s Performing Arts Award in 2012, and receiving recognition with both a star on the Canada Walk of Fame and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The world tragically said goodbye to Peart on January 7, 2020 following his battle with brain cancer. Honoring Peart and the legacy the band had forged together, Lee and Lifeson celebrate RUSH on tour in 2026. It’s a moment for new listeners to finally experience this music live in all of its glory and another chance for the group’s faithful fanbase to rally again.

  • Rush was better than ever!

by BiggerGuy on 2010-07-14Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Having seen Rush at the Amphitheatre for the R30 tour, I thought it would be a tough one to follow but think of all the best descriptive words you can think of and think of some more and they would all apply to this concert. They started rocking and they just plowed and kept on plowing......... Just shy of three hours of Rush heaven. Phenomenal!!!!!!!!!! Wish I could go again.

  • Rush was Unbelievable!

by JoshCan on 2010-07-14Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Rush was amazing! They always are, selling out shows is their thing. The Molson Amphitheatre is a great venue and I had decent seats. They played all the amazing songs, including the entire Moving Pictures album...which is their best. They also played many other amazing songs from various albums which were great. They are my favorite band...and always will be. And I feel so lucky that I have been able to see them twice in my lifetime.

  • Rush

by Shawnjoem on 2010-07-14Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Awesome show. Only bad point I would say is they played to many of their lesser known songs. That room could have been used for some of the more obvious ones that should have been played. Drum solo was a little dissapointing. Was good, not awesome.

  • WOW!!!!!

    by Mel9 on 2010-07-14Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This show far exceeded my expectations; RUSH was amazing live! Played all there hits and then some. A must see!!

  • My First Time

by ColinJennison on 2010-07-14Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I didn't actually know a huge number of the songs they played because I only just started listening to Rush recently... but the musicianship and the stage show was incredible. Audio/Video was all great from the lawns, I didn't feel far away at all. I will be listening to a lot more Rush now haha...

  • One word.........RASH!

by Anonymous on 2010-07-14Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

RASH? Yes, see the opening segment before one note is played. Understand and laugh! Then , prepare to rock!

  • WOW

by Stuie on 2010-07-14Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Absolutely amazing!!! I have seen many shows over the years and it still amazes me how good these guys are! The set list was one of the best i've ever seen from them including Time Stand Still and Marathon that you never hear live. They also nailed their two new songs (Caravan and BU2B) perfectly! Moving Pictures cover to cover, 2112 and La Villa... What else can I say!

  • Rush to the soul

by nukanine on 2010-07-14Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Fantastic show not to be missed by any who truly enjoy music. They played so well and it was the best sounding show. Do yourself a favour and go see Rush and you will not be disappointed.

  • RUSH went beyond the lighted stage!!!

by voxrox on 2010-07-14Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Always humble and eager to please their fans, Rush took no prisoners at the Molson Amphitheatre last night. The rain held off and adoring followers were treated to hit after prog rock hit. A good balance of vintage, new and "in-between", the songs were a good reflection of the Time Machine theme supplemented by background images of varied-aged Geddies, Alexes and Neils. Pre and post show videos really showcased the band's acting and comic flair! I just wonder where all those sausages go?

  • Simply AWESOME!!

by ErikR on 2010-07-14Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

One of the best concerts that I have seen over the last 25 years! Classic tunes, the band was tight, the visuals were Amazing. Alex made love to his screaming guitar. Geddy - voice and bass was exceptional and Neil - simply the best drummer on the world. Rush continues to be one of the greatest rock bands in history. 2.5 hours of magic.

  • In the name of Jesus I ask Rush to come to Ottawa.

    by Cloune48 on 2010-05-14Place Des Pioniers - HawkesburyRating: 5 out of 5

For some reasons I thought that I have seen Rush coming to some kind of Festival in Ottawa and was all excited over that.Tonight I noticed that there"s only 2 Canada Date both in T.O.I am Sad cause Like many Others Rush is my Favorite Band.Actually I am the Biggest Rush Fan.The 1st Time I saw Rush they were Back Up for Aerosmith.I remember telling my Friend Hey Those Guy were Better than Aerosmith. That was exactly 36 Years ago.Since then I saw Rush 19 Times.I"ve seen approx:20 other Rock Band but not One Show could come Close to Rush.I saw The Farewell to Kings tour 5 Times in 2 Weeks.I have Goose Bumps remembering Cygnus x-1 and " And the meek shall inherit the world" people went nuts at the Old Montreal Forum.Yeah I know You remember?

  • Only Toronto?

by Jimiimij on 2010-04-28The rest of Canada - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

I am a huge Rush fan and grew up listening to them. They are Canadian and world famous. I have seen them a few times and enjoyed every show. My question is where is the Canadian tour? What about us out west who can't go to T.O. to see our heros. I'm sure they would sell out anywhere they play. I just wish they would remember Edmonton, Calgary. Winipeg, Regina and Vancouver even Ottawa and the Eastern Provences. Canada loves our Rush and we deserve a tour as much as the states. We are your first and best fans. I'm sure there are many more who feel like me. I'm not mad just disapointed. Rush you owe your fans more of a tour. We miss you. Thanks

Rush had the very best show i have ever seen. They rocked the venue for at least three hours and i still wanted more. I really hope they come around again at least once more.
