After the global success of writing and starring in 182 episodes of The Russell Howard Hour (Sky) and Russell Howard's Good News (BBC) combined, plus six stand-up specials, with clips amassing over 1 billion views on social media and selling 1.5 million tickets to his gigs worldwide so far, Russell Howard is back on the road once again with his fourth and biggest world tour to date, Russell Howard Live. Russell Howard Live has already seen him perform runs in the UK, Europe, America, Australia and New Zealand. The tour continues this fall with dates in Canada, followed by a return to Europe and the U.S. for additional performances.
Alongside hosting his hugely popular Wonderbox podcast, Russell recently began co-hosting an all-new original podcast, GoalLess, focused on soccer and The Champions League, with Chris Wittyngham through SmartLess Media: a joint venture between Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett.
In addition to his live tours across the pond, Russell has appeared on a number of late-night shows including The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, Late Night with Conan O'Brien and The Late Late Show with James Corden, plus podcasts including Bertcast, Lovett or Leave it with Jon Lovett and We Might Be Drunk with Mark Normand and Sam Morril.
Russell's previous world tours have seen him perform a record-breaking 10-night run at the Royal Albert Hall, overtaking eight in a row jointly held by Frank Sinatra and Barry Manilow, and play the biggest ever stand-up show in China.
I used to watch his TV show when I lived in the UK. He was very good then. This was my first time seeing live. I have never cried with laughter but the first 20minutes were so good it had me thinking I want to see him again tomorrow. Best comedy show I have ever been to, and I will definetly be in his audience again
The venue (Queen Elizabeth Theatre) was a great choice, especially in size and location. Any seat would provide a great view point. Russell was amazing! Great set, very relatable and just hilarious. We laughed until our jaws hurt. The show was great and can't wait for his return!
Both the opening act and Russel himself were amazing. Well worth the trip to Van. Topical and irreverent with a lot of relatable notes.

Everything about Russell’s performance was excellent start to finish. I’m originally from the UK and moved to Canada 2 years ago, so it felt like home. My favourite thing about his comedy is the political undertone and his way of making it hilarious. Every joke hit perfectly. His support act, Ola, was amazing too! So funny. An all around great night. When I left, my cheeks were sore from laughing and that’s always a good sign at a comedy show!
We enjoyed Russell’s shows on tv but had no idea how amazing and hillarious he is live! Can’t wait until he swings through Winnipeg again - see if he has another mic drop night - once where he almost actually dropped it and the other because he blew us away!

Russell Howard is an excellent comedian. We did all find however with many of his jokes that the audience would start laughing before the punchline was delivered preventing us from catching it. I’m thinking he needs to ensure he’s facing the audience & add emphasis on the punch line. His wit is quick & dry but hilarious.
Had a great time. Very funny. Original material, great timing, interacted with the audience and made me and my guests laugh till it hurt. Highly recommend
