    Absolutely phenomenal

by Rob H on 2022-03-28The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Have loved Russell on UK panel shows and his Netflix specials, but was totally and wholly unprepared for the absolute gut-busting time I had at this show. I have attended comedy shows before, but for a good hour and a half (not counting the opening act, which was just as good) the entire room was practically roaring with laughter any time Russell was not speaking. Amazing performance and would jump at the chance to see him again.

    Absolutely Amazing Experience.

by M.M. @ Danforth, Toronto on 2022-03-28The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Russell Howard is just the best. He is so darn funny. He doesn't let you catch your breath the whole time. Was cool to see him live after watching so many clips online of his work. Highly recommend, must see.

After 926 days… it was worth the wait!

by Geoff Shaw on 2022-03-28The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Great show!! Russell was on the top of his game!! The audience was a little sedate; however, I think this was a bit of the audience being COVID shy! Russell joked that the tickets went on sale 926 days before the show, and we all had a great laugh about it! When we all settle down about being out during this pandemic/endemic, I'm sure the audience will better handle the show!

    Even Better in Person!

by Barely Adulting on 2022-03-28The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

I've been watching Russell Howard for years now. Not just his comedy specials but on television as well. I started when a friend of mine showed me the "Mr. Dildo" story. My sonwas in bone marrow transplant at the time so it really struck a cord. Let me tell you, he is sooooo much better live!!! He has so much presence! Seeing him is the achievement of one of my major life goals! The wait was 100% worth it!

    Great but late...

by Michelle on 2022-03-28The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Love Russell Howard and he didn't disappoint. The only complaint - the show started late (6:30 start time, almost 7:20 before the opening act started). So it was heading for 8 before Russell started and with a second show at 9, it felt rushed. We were out of there by 8:30 so I'm not sure how much of a full show we got, but what we did get was a lubricant, as Russell would say!

    Worth Waiting For

by hmh on 2022-03-28The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Although I wouldn't want to wait over two years again (thank you Covid) Russell Howard was worth the wait. He is witty, topical and humane while creating an incredible number of laughs. Really top notch. His opening comic Simon Talbert (not sure the last name is correct) was also great fun and better than can be expected from many openers. All in all a great show. It is time though that the Danforth Music Hall did some upgrading and cleaning. The crumbling plaster is past being atmospheric and is now simply falling apart. The floor was ridiculously sticky even at the early show; it was revolting.

    Laugh, smile and oowwwwwwww!

by MLW on 2022-03-27The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

The show was great. Just what I needed but the seats in the venue needs work. There was no leg room and as someone with knee issues I was ruined for the night.

    Future star potential

by A fan on 2022-03-27The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Good up and coming comedian. Would be funnier if a few less dick jokes. Blue comedy is funny, but it shouldn’t be the only comedy. Also should be more professional and start on time. Doors didn’t even open until after the published showtime.

So funny my face still hurts from laughing

by Brit68 on 2017-05-15The Royal Theatre - Toronto

Not for the faint hearted but as long as you are not easily offended by the language and some of the subject matter (not sure you'd be thinking of seeing Russell Howard in the first place if you were) you will enjoy the musings and rants enormously. Laughed out loud the whole way through.
